actually where it's going is 2 the truth of the situation... that's prob why you're not overly impressed.

after reading the console log, it became quite obvious that all you were trying 2 do was bait her, because you're an idiot and thought you would get away with it and no 1 would actually look into the situation? who knows what your reasoning is. ill post the log at the bottom of the msg. but before I do, let me explain something 2 you... cause you seem 2 love 2 rant about protocol and what not, so let me highlight some of ours for you.

VII. Respect

1) Players that disrespect others
2) Player continuously nags others and continues despite reasonable requests to silence including mutes and kicks
3) Players that disrespect Admins or <ibis>

A) Player that nags an admin repeatedly despite being told to
B) Player that is not respectful of someone of a higher position
C) Flipping out at an admin after being told to

there's a nice list of things you did wrong. also, cause you seem 2 think we have this rule set in stone that says you have 2 warn, mute, kick, ban (which we don't) id show ya what our rules actually say specific 2 your situation, due 2 the fact you've been hounding her during more then 1 occasion.

II. Understanding bypasses

Some rules allow for bypasses, this means that under some circumstances one type of punishment can be bypassed and a more sever one can be issued. For example violations of some rules may allow admins to skip a kick and go to a predesignated ban length instead. Another example would be bypassing a mute for a kick. Punishments that can be bypassed have a section stating what rule violations allow for bypasses. It is up to an admin to decide if they want to skip to a more severe punishment. Think of bypasses as an "or" statement for admins, when a user breaks a given rule they can punish with "this" or if it is on the bypass list they can punish with "something more severe"

you know, my two sense.... on SEVERAL occasions i have explained to sinister to not argue openly in the server and to bring his arguments about his over used word of choice to a private chat with whom he had/has discrepancy's with. This is a clear sign to me that everything i had said being advice and warning of punishment has gone in one ear and out the other. All i see going on here is an x admin of 1 month who now feels obligated to be a rule stickler, when clearly an understanding of the rules dont exists to begin with.

Autumn did the right thing, she gave SEVERAL warnings, and gave you the chance to CHOOSE to shut up and talk in private.

Sorry if she found that disrespectful, but it was meant to be nothing but a mere joke. Anybody with a proper sense of judgment would have been able to decipher that from the statements I was making. Seeing as the joke was directed towards a particular sex as a whole and not at her as an individual, I fail to see how that was disrespect. If I openly said "You're stupid because you're a woman" in a direct context, I would then see it as being disrespectful. After making the comment about women, I then proceeded to make a joke about the male sex, but yet she did nothing about it and nor did Alex. The only reason that she is being so harsh against me is because she, like several other admins, have a particular distaste for me and are willing to go that extra mile over any small and minor obstruction I cause amongst the rules.

And it's not that I am not overly impressed, it is much rather the fact that you admins are biased and are willing to put your back out there to defend an admin much rather than try and see it from the user's point of view.

The main reason that I created this thread was because if I went ahead and committed these actions, people like priest, hitman, maynard and others would be crawling up my ass like ants. But, no... once an admin who has been here for two years decides to go ahead and bypass punishment, it's okay because "She's been here longer and she's in the inner circle with us".

In conclusion, it is evident to me that the majority of admins and old regulars are allowed to have a large sense of leeway regarding bending the rules whilst newcomers will get banned and mistreated for breaking even the simplest rule. *Sigh* I am just going to go out on a limb and say that the majority of you admins are what I have always said... condescending, contradictory, hypocritical, biased and just downright foolish. Cry_Wolf, NessLookAlike, Tasty Cakes, and Andrew are about the only decent admins on this server. The rest are complete and utter shit. I give respect where respect is due.

EDIT: Oh, and Mikey is alright, too... when he's not drinking and screaming over the mic like a complete idiot.
