CSS update

my css updated today, now i cant play the zombie server , is there a way to rollback the update to a previous version? or are the server(s) going to be updated soon?

lol thats exactly how i feel, i dont get to play as often as i want to because of college, and because of the DDos that happened the other day i didnt get to play any css when i had some time, now im itching for it

I sensed a disturbance in the force, figured it was time to check the forums and servers. I am now putting my paper on hold and updating the servers. (was working on a school project)

Note that this update breaks the game. All servers will be down for a while...

Note apparently even without any mods the servers will crash about every 20min. It is reported that this update has finally broken the game to the point where it simply no longer works.

Well the server turned off during the update so now all the servers are likely corrupted may take up to 3 days to repair.

As this update breaks every mod I am going to go back to working on m project. It will not be for a few hours or days until the mods are fixed anyways.

What ever they messed with it is really fucked up for the SM developers to take this long to fix it. Generally anything longer than 1 hour after the update indicates that there was some serious changes and breaking.

From experience with past updates it is clear that it is going to take over 20 hours for everything to be updated and working (at least for windows servers). Therefore I am just wasting time staying up all night. I do have school tomorrow so I will not be able to fix anything until I come home. On another note I have a new theory about the DDOS attacks. It is actually from valve and when the failed the released this update. The reality is they do not want people playing CS:S when portal 2 comes out so they need to ensure that the game does not work.

This shit honestly does not suprise me. I also wouldn't put it past Valve to do some dirty shit like that.

Edit: Get your tools out... Maybe there's a Portal 2 secret hidden in this POS game update. lmao
