Hi Bubbles, great to see you chose to come and lodge a formal complaint, so lets get down to business.

NessLookAlike for the past few hours has been online on the zombie mod server, for what seems like every 5 minutes, he makes a map vote and by map vote I mean he chooses a map and then makes a yes or no vote. ( Need less to say if your on a bad map, and then a mapvote is made of course people will say yes just to get off the one they are on)

I don't recall things in the server going down like this. I recall playing maps for almost the entire length that they're normally alotted, then throwing up some votes with maps that I randomly picked from the maplist. Mostly RANDOMLY. They weren't my favorite maps, otherwise they'd be PARANOID DEATHSTAR MOUNTDOOM HELMSDEEP TITANIC TUROKBASE and NINJA every single time, in that order. Also, "what seems like 5 minutes" can easily be the regular amount of time we were on the map, which is only like 20 minutes anyway, especially when you're not paying attention and having fun or tagging others or raging over bad maps.

And he did this several times, at one point I made comments about one map being bad, then ness had something smart to say back. I replied whatever you say ness, you have wonderful taste. Then after being on said map for about 2 rounds, he makes another map vote. As soon as that vote is accepted and we go to the next map( which again was terrible seems like a trend he was doing on purpose) I say " Oh look another shitty map brought to you by ness"

So basically you admit to be disrespectful to an admin for multiple rounds. Duly noted.

He then proceeded to mute me for 5 minutes, going on about how I was disrespectful which I suppose I can see that I was a bit.

My real complaint in all of this is the constant making map votes after 2 rounds, and he isn't even making real map votes.

Keen eye! Good for you. What you were seeing was me making a votequestion with a list of maps I'd randomly picked, so that Extend was not an option. You wouldn't believe how mad everyone gets when Extend wins sometimes. Also, I don't make votes every couple of rounds -- what you were noticing were probably just question votes, ie. "Wasn't Walter the best admin ever? Spam Yes No" that you weren't paying attention to, which made them seem like mapvotes to you.

He is choosing whatever map he see fits and makes a yes or no vote.

Believe it or not, thats how it works!

It was not as if he made a list of maps to choose from which we could pick. It was simply, ok were on a shitty map, lets go to another one and repeat said action.

But I did make a list of maps you could choose from! And every time that a map was chosen, I set the next map to that one, I didn't do something like OH YOU GUYS VOTED ZM_GRID BUT EH I LIKE PARANOID BETTER WE'RE GOING THERE, now did I? I'll answer that for you: no I didn't, because I never do that, even if other admins berrate me for it sometimes.

Now I know everyone who chimes in on this is going to say " If you don't like the map then rock the vote", which in turn is another complaint. I have never not once since I have played on this server had a map vote started by getting enough people to RTV. The ratio of how many players to how many rtv's needed is no where even close, it seems like you need just about everyone to do it.

Easy now, don't reveal your age, young man. If you haven't seen it happen, you're a noob that hasn't been on the server long -- it definitely does, on a regular basis.

And while Im at it, while I was muted the admin " Rob " came online while I was muted and ness mentioned something about me being shitty and rob kept going on and on in a shitty tone and attitude towards me when he was not even there.

Actually the way it worked was that:
- You were disrespectful, which you admitted above
- I muted you for 5 mins -- not kick, not ban, not drug/blind/burn, but a 5 min kick
- Rob asked me why I muted you
- I told Rob it was because you were being disrespectful -- which you admitted
- Rob said "oh ok"
- You friended him to complain to him about why a 5 minute mute for disrespect wasn't fair
- He asked why you were muted and why you were trying to friend him
- He asked me for an example of you being offensive
- I gave an example

I don't recall Rob going "on and on" about you, but maybe I've just forgotten? Anyway, this isn't about Rob, this is about me isn't it?

Also, don't forget that after your 5 minute mute expired you came back and wrote in chat "aww Ness did I hit a nerve?", keeping the disrespect train going. Could've kicked you, but eh. I'm a patient man.

Im curious, what type of screening does an admin applicant have to go through? It seems as if anyone who pays is getting admin.

I'm sure ness and all his other buddy admins are going to come in and back him up and talk shit on me, but either way I don't care. I've said what I needed to say, this bullshit needs to stop and I think Zero himself needs to be more active with the zombie mod server to see the things that go on.

Nope, just gonna come in and ask umad? and point out the inconsistences of your sorrid tale. What needs to stop is players thinking they can blatantly disrespect admins and get away with it. Muting you for 5 minutes was, I thought, a step in that general direction. In terms of things I think ZERO should do, I think ZERO should:

• upgrade to a better server configuration (more resources, faster CPU!) and
• add more maps,

but otherwise not all that much. Fun discussion, Bubbles. Try being more respectful next time -- other admins aren't as patient as I am with players.

What i do agree on though, is that when you're making a mapvote for a new map, because the current one is shitty. at least let the server vote between GOOD maps. so that when you DO go to a new map, noone can bitch at you for shit.
Then when you get on the new map, and people DO start bitching, you say "Well, you voted for this, so play the game and quit crying"
It's not like one person can make the map change just because they think its shitty.

Actually what I say is "You guys voted for the map and we just got here, so we're not leaving for another couple rounds." and "If you don't like the map, just RTV." Also Rob, just because you don't like a map doesn't mean someone (read: the majority that voted for the map) doesn't. The votes I were throwing up were ones that I had picked randomly from the list.
