Senior admin can change the map however many times he wants as long as it is not excessive. The problem I have is that while there is Player to Admin respect, I don't see much Admin to Player respect.

I don't recall things in the server going down like this. I recall playing maps for almost the entire length that they're normally alotted, then throwing up some votes with maps that I randomly picked from the maplist. Mostly RANDOMLY. They weren't my favorite maps, otherwise they'd be PARANOID DEATHSTAR MOUNTDOOM HELMSDEEP TITANIC TUROKBASE and NINJA every single time, in that order. Also, "what seems like 5 minutes" can easily be the regular amount of time we were on the map, which is only like 20 minutes anyway, especially when you're not paying attention and having fun or tagging others or raging over bad maps.

I'm sure you don't recall things going down like that, I mean yeah I file a complaint and the said person denies it? Thats just unheard of.

Keen eye! Good for you. What you were seeing was me making a votequestion with a list of maps I'd randomly picked, so that Extend was not an option. You wouldn't believe how mad everyone gets when Extend wins sometimes. Also, I don't make votes every couple of rounds -- what you were noticing were probably just question votes, ie. "Wasn't Walter the best admin ever? Spam Yes No" that you weren't paying attention to, which made them seem like mapvotes to you.

That is a lie, you did not make any vote that had a list of maps, but merely " yes or no for this map" sort of votes. I played attention plenty, thanks for your input.

How it works? As I've stated before, I have quite a few admins of the server on my friends list who I consider to do a much better job then you and they don't feel the need to make " yes or no" votes 24/7, most of them will make a list of map to choose from which you did not do, yet claim to have done. ( Denial again? Oh wait of course your being accused)



But I did make a list of maps you could choose from! And every time that a map was chosen, I set the next map to that one, I didn't do something like OH YOU GUYS VOTED ZM_GRID BUT EH I LIKE PARANOID BETTER WE'RE GOING THERE, now did I? I'll answer that for you: no I didn't, because I never do that, even if other admins berrate me for it sometimes.

Sell that bullshit else where, you did no such thing. If only I cared to learn how to demo properly. I think I'll look into that, nothing like having proof for all to see.

Funny, I don't give a good shit about rank but I am in the top 50 of the list, and have a kdr of 2 + , but that is normal for a noob who doesn't play this server a lot and this clearly does NOT happen a lot. I never said that it doesn't happen or won't ever happen, but it never has when I've been online.




Actually the way it worked was that:
- You were disrespectful, which you admitted above
- I muted you for 5 mins -- not kick, not ban, not drug/blind/burn, but a 5 min kick
- Rob asked me why I muted you
- I told Rob it was because you were being disrespectful -- which you admitted
- Rob said "oh ok"
- You friended him to complain to him about why a 5 minute mute for disrespect wasn't fair
- He asked why you were muted and why you were trying to friend him
- He asked me for an example of you being offensive
- I gave an example

Oh yes lets go on about this, Disrespectful, I'd have to say that is vague at best. I didn't tell you to go fuck a tree or call you a dumbass of any nature. Did I disagree with you? yes. Was I sarcastic with you? Yes. However, I never even used a curse word apart from shitty which I only ever used to describe the maps. Which it was not just me, I can't even count how many others were bitching about it through their mics and text. Rob did ask why you muted me, and of course you made it sound worse then it actually was, and in turn while I was muted he decided to go on about how you cant be disrespectful to admins and more or less berate a otherwise mute person at the time who could not defend himself. Rob asked what was said, I added him to tell him what ACTUALLY happened. Not to whine or complain.

Nope, just gonna come in and ask umad? and point out the inconsistences of your sorrid tale. What needs to stop is players thinking they can blatantly disrespect admins and get away with it. Muting you for 5 minutes was, I thought, a step in that general direction. In terms of things I think ZERO should do, I think ZERO should:

• upgrade to a better server configuration (more resources, faster CPU!) and
• add more maps,

an admin shouldnt make constant map votes. MAYBE, changing a map off a new map admins should know which ones are bad and not. i would consider it abuse if their changing to bad maps purposly, or constantly changing cuz their trying to anoy people, or if their mad and want to mak others mad.

The problem here is that this didn't happen. There weren't constant map votes. This individual thinks there were constant map votes when there weren't. He's also bending the truth about the activity in the server to make it seem like I'm the big bad admin punishing the players. It's messed up and sad and he needs to get a life and not be mad about a 5-minute mute for something that he admits to. Even right now in his replies he's being disrespectful.

I'll go ahead and say that if he can't set aside his temper and if he carries it over to the server there will be consequences.

Ness, I don't think he gives a crap about that 5 minute mute. He just doesn't appreciate that you constantly changing maps. Now, I'm not saying what he said is true since I can't count myself as a witness, but it does not make what you said true either just because you have admin. The only way to bring out the facts is SourceTV, which we'll probably have to wait for Zero to go through and review this issue. Until then I think this thread should be closed because this is nothing but he said she said and it not getting anywhere.
