    Question Some sort of software

    Say I'm playing a game and I was wanting to record what is going on on either the screen as a whole or the game itself. What would that type of software be called and what is a good example of said software that I could possibly obtain for free and use? Can anyone help me please?

    I would do a source demo first, then fraps recording programs tend to drop your fps
