The Collector’s Edition of Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ includes seventeen original tracks, but this is just a small sampling of the breadth of music that was composed specifically for the game. As we count down the days until our December 20th launch, we want you to experience the entire original score! That’s why, starting today and continuing every day until launch, we are releasing one new musical track available for download each day on both Facebook and YouTube!

You can head over to our Facebook page right now to listen to and discuss “The Mandalorian Blockade”, the first track that we’ve released. This track is also available to download below, and all of the released tracks will be available for download from this page on December 20th. Make sure that you check back to Facebook each day to listen to the latest musical score from the game, and while you’re there remember to ‘Like’ us so that you don’t miss a single track.

Pre-Launch Guilds Are Locked

Today we are announcing that the Pre-Launch Guild Program for Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ has come to an end. Guilds that have met the prerequisite of having four members redeem their Pre-Order Codes at our Code Redemption Center are now locked for transfer into the game in time for our December 20th launch.

If your guild has qualified for import, you can expect to receive an email at some time over the next several days. This email will give you further details on how to check the status of your guild as well as further details about how to join your guild once you’re in the game. Your email will also tell you which server your guild has been assigned to, so you will know which one to select when Early Game Access begins. While we will do everything we can to ensure that your Allies and Adversaries are on your server with you, we can’t necessarily guarantee that every guild will see their Allies and Adversaries on their server with them.

We want to thank each and every one of you who took part in the program, and we look forward to seeing you all in the game!

What will happen to the Guild Headquarters website after the game has launched?

After the game officially releases, we will allow adequate time for guilds to save any important information from their public and private forums they wish to capture off the website. On January 3rd, 2012, approximately 2 weeks after the official release of the game (Dec 20, 2011), the Guild Headquarters will be removed from the web.

So it looks like we won't have access to the official SWTOR guild forums...?

meh, waste of money imo... looks great, but really not needed, nor are you going 2 play any better with that stuff. and fuck you and your CE =( I wanted 1, but they ran out when I wanted 2 upgrade from the deluxe edition... oh well.

yeah well the cost is high because of the statue. Maybe i'll keep it or sell it later as there is plenty of star wars fans that buy stuff like that.
