    randoms. we're a guild, doesn't matter where the people are from.

    also we're having a serious problem with people not liking that IBIS stands for nothing....

    we need ideas and need 2 make something up for IBIS 2 stand for....

    xerenix said someone mentioned

    "Intergalactic Business Investigation Society" as an idea...

    if any 1 has a better 1, please feel free 2 post it... dealing with shit is kind of a pain in the ass as my game is glitched and wont let me talk in guild chat... got a ticket opened...

    also it's 52 members now ^^


    ok.... thinking cap time......... what can IBIS stand for in SWTOR ?

    Why does it have to stand for anything other than what it is, which I'm assuming is the bird?

    If they need a cool reason (that's at least valid), instead of an acronym why not use this "IBIS - Fearless and followed by death." Why? Check out this snippet from Wikipedia:

    The mascot of the University of Miami is an American White Ibis. The ibis was selected as the school mascot because of its legendary bravery during hurricanes. According to legend, the ibis is the last sign of wildlife to take shelter before a hurricane hits and the first to reappear once the storm has passed.[10]

    because in MMORPG's people care about what their guild name is, and what it means... it's always been that way. telling them "it's a bird" just makes people Gquit.
