Temp Admin system/Beta Test

as you all know I have been preparing a new admin system. It currently works on the vip server. As it could be a few days before mani is fixed I am currently planning to switch to the new system until it is fixed. While soon this new system will be perment it will only be on until mani is fixed. Some of you may not have admin on this new system. Do not bother telling me now as there is nothing I can do. This is a temp patch so we can control the servers for now. However b/c this is a beta test please not problems and bugs so they can be fixed before the release in a few weeks. If you do not have admin during the beta you will not have it when the new system goes live in a few weeks and you will need to post/msg me in the FUTURE WHEN I ASK IF YOU HAD A PROBLEM DURING THIS TEST AS IN DO NOT TELL ME NOW.

When I put the new system on I will post in this thread if mani comes out before then we will just do that. So just know that a backup plan is in place and on the way.

Ok, I will be updating the servers now with the new system. It will take effect after a server restart. This is only TEMPORARY, think of it as a sneak test preview of the upcoming admin system.

Please note the following:

You have admin and it works:

• Great, you can use and test out the new sytem.
• If you find bugs in it please report them in the vip mod section as that is actually the current test server for it.

You have admin and it DOES NOT WORK:

• This means that you are not in the new upcoming admin system
• This could be for any number of reasons
• This will be dealt with later before the system actually launches
• Be ready for a thread a few weeks from now that will allow you to report that your admin is not working in the new system so you can be converted.
• But why can I not have it now! I am paying your dumb ass!

  • this is an emergency release so we have some admin until mani is fixed in a day or so
  • your problem is likely with your subscription itself and will require a few hours of yours and zero's time to get fixed to be on the new system
  • zero has a life too
  • zero is trying to just get the server temp fixed so they can be under control
  • zero does not want you to be without admin but this is the best he can do
  • zero is sorry

So hopefully it will work correctly. Please post any MAJOR problems with the new system so I can fix them. This would be things that are effecting gameplay and need immediate attention.

ALSO THERE IS NO PERMA BAN ONLY CLAN CAN PERMA BAN on the new system right now, just keep your pants on and be glad that we can get the servers under control.

uploading gg server now, the map voting is also updated to a preview of the new system (hopefully it works)

All servers updated temps system in place. If you do not have admin and REALLY want it, you can do the following:

1. Cancel your current sub
2. Sign up on the forums and order admin via the forums
3. Ensure your steam id is in your profile
4. Use admin after the map changes!

Logically this also means that for now anyone who orders admin/reserved slot will get it by the next map. (on the temp system)
