Why camp?

Alright, I don't know who or why the rule about camping on the gungame server was changed, and frankly I don't care. It needs to be changed back. Right now, people are allowed to camp from what I am told. Fine, that is all well and good, but the big problem is people not leaving their spawn when the round starts. For now I will take advantage of the rule until told otherwise in game that people are once again not allowed to camp.

NO excessive camping. It was admins misinterpreting the rules as no camping whatsoever.

Well there certainly is a lot of excessive camping going on, and it seems like the admins are too afraid to punish for it due to one admin actually slaying a camper then I forget if they were warned that their admin privileges would be revoked or something. But people camp, no one does anything about it, and it is really annoying, especially when they camp their own spawn.

Odd, I dont remember hearing of that. A slay would not cause one to lose their powers even if it was classified as Abuse. The person who lost his powers must have been doing constant abuse.

They didn't lose it, but they said they were warned (i think) and then that is what caused the camping rule to be changed for the worse. All I know is that there is a lot more camping going on then before, so I camp just because I can, but I don't like doing it. And on churches, people camping their own church, no slaying or warnings of that.

People can camp. They always have been allowed. When it hold's up the round and they aren't doing anything is when it becomes a problem. There's a difference between camping for annoyance and camping "strategically".
