Here is the way I see it. Basically the security at the bank started handing out money from the vault of course everyone is going to line up to have some. You can not really blame them it is the guards who are at fault. This is why I am not going to punish the players. In addition there is no way to ensure that I can track down every single player that gained an advantage from this. It is not fair to punish some of the players but not all of them. It also is not fair to punish players who may have done nothing wrong other than be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

The people who had control over the situation and created the situation was the admins. In the past when admins gave out money on wcs the players did not have level resets but the admins involved did. Thus there already is prior cases involving this sort of incident where admins do something that gains themselves and others an advantage where as only the admins were punished.

Now on the other hand if it can be proven that a particular group of players was conspiring with admins to do this than it is reasonable for them to be punished as well.

The 2 caught red handed should have at least not gotten off so easy. Ness SHOULD have his stats reset for at least yesterday. It was already stated he conspired with Saturday to do so.
The other way to see it is if those people where still taking the "free" money they would also have repercussions from law enforcement knowingly taking said stolen money.

As for Sinsanity looks like he swapped teams to take everyone to a more difficult level on the map. Which most everyone usually agrees with. His stats page doesn't really show rank manipulation.

That is why I am not doing anything to him yet until I have a chance to review the actual demo. More punishments may be dealt out as more details come to light and I am able to review everything. This will occur mostly tomorrow.

bad analogy, because yes, those people would still be charged, because they SHOULD know that it is not right to do. Willful Ignorance does not excuse breaking the law, but if it excuses breaking the rules here then it's your call.
