Yes you should get your weapons back after flying. The old race you did not b/c the person that programmed it did not know what they were doing.

There is no way around the weapon dropping thing without overly complicated code that is too high a rick of causing bugs and crashes. This exists with all races that give weapons.

Is everyone happy with how this race works? The only thing I have left is to add the effects for blood loss and fly.

Well the weapons and fly work pretty good. Haven't been able to try it against anyone as of yet.

One big thing is I hope to get all these last ones done so I can go fix the ones we already have. Every time I program a new race and look at the code from the old ones I find so many stupid bugs. Not that they break the race but just the way that they are programed is stupid.

What is important is that I try to improve the code for each new race so we get a more stable server

So any ideas on the effects for blood loss and the flying?

Should I just make something up?

Fly: The effect from Athena's Realm but light green and only on lift off?
Blood Loss: Dim thin red line from you to player?

fly had a red particle trail behind it, and was somewhat (like, 25%) invis while flying.

...so? it wasn't a stealth race. it was just a neat visual

I am going to try to learn how to do particle effects with this race. Then when the races are done I can go back and redo a few with better effects.
