Is it just me or would there be a few less threads like this if we stopped jumping the gun on the ban hammer? Even if it is temporary, people see BAN and assume the worst. Give a warning, if still having a problem, slay them or freeze them. Still got a problem? Kick em. At that point if someone is going out of their way to cause a problem and still looking for trouble I don't think anyone would argue with issuing a temporary ban.
