    Default Backups

    Just wanted to let you all know that all of our databases now have nightly backups. This helps ensure that in the event of an error we can always go back 24 hours! I offload the files to local RAID6 backups as well so that we are protected against multi level failures. Now that the admin system is automated having these backups helps ensure that our admin system will not be impacted by any possible service failures.

    Actually instead of when ever I would manually back it up which usually only occurred before I updated something.
