Any protest and organazation that allows "FUCK THE TROOPS" Pick-it signs, needs to be cunmt fucked with a broken splintery broom stick and smashed several times in the face with a baseball bat.

You're right, because the actions of one person define an entire group...

So, you're saying that an organization NOT doing anything to stop such actions doesn't support it? At best/worst, they are supporting it from not caring enough to do anything about it. But, yes, the actions of the individual acting in the name of the group DOES define the group.

I have to agree with Nemesis on this. The protest is basically about corporation greed and the dark side of capitalism, I don't think the protesters actually have any issues with the troops. Speaking of which, I have yet to see this picket sign Mikey spoke of, have anyone else seen it?

When you condemn entire movements based on the words and actions of a few people on matters unrelated to the purpose of the movement, then you're an even bigger problem than the people you're condemning. In the same way that media and loud individuals took a constitutionalist and economically conservative Tea Party and turned it into an aggregation of right wing social extremists, these same media organisations, and these same loud people will aim to take an Occupy Wall Street movement demanding accountability and action against government corruption, and turn it into a leftist mess of welfare recipients and disgruntled youth.

It's disappointing that even in these times, the people suffering under the economic and political corruption of this country will bury those who carry a message of reform under mounds personal and irrelevant criticism. It must be easy being corrupt in a country where the majority of the people you exploit will vociferously defend you from dissenting voices.

protests never actually get anything done. it's always just a bunch of jobless hippies spewing some nonsense about "corporate America". it's just a waste of time.
