Medkit - Broad term, and contents are up to the person.

Water sterilization kit, and food.

As much water as you can carry.

Don't stay in one place for more than a day, the horde will find you, and they will overwhelm you.

Also to those who say it's 'impossible' for something remotely like this to happen is a silly person, few things are impossible.
