They are backward comparable also I started buying up sections of ipv4 space for future servers a year ago

How it effects servers in the future will depend on valve creating the option to allow ipv6 server addresses. However this would not be ideal as they are not easy to remember. This is why I have ipv4 addresses saved up b/c they are easier to remember. Although, we have DNS redirection anyways so it does not matter too much.
For the website we can create a ipv6 to 4 tunnel via our DNS host.
