haha brett your in the spot light!
Rosh, at any rate, you made the right decision. Its better to ban and review then to not ban and let a potential hacker continue to reign.

actually he made the wrong decision as I already stated. if you're not confident in your ban, do not ban the person, this is nothing new...
it can take anywhere from 2-5 days for a thread 2 be handled, it's not fair for someone whose not hacking, 2 have 2 wait that period of time just cause you're iffy about something, and not even sure 2 begin with if the person hacks.

holy crap i was off last night. i watched a different demo that i had just pulled of a different player entirely and posted that response on this thread.
i also kept telling my gf to put off her paper til tomorrow and she kept telling me IT'S DUE AT 9 AM TOMORROW and i was like just do it over the weekend or something. god yesterday was fuckin terrible for me XD
just watched it one more time, and for my final verdict, it certainly looks like walls at some points, but i have noticed that the locations of moving player models on sourcetv are way off, and reg is even crazier. i saw something crazy with lagi the other day, he was aiming at a dude's knee, stationary, crouched with the awp...shoots his head. then he's shooting full auto with a krieg, landing shots around the dude's legs, then the killshot is a headshot when the head isn't even visible. i see the same sorts of things several times in this demo, so the most telling times, when he seems to trace someone who's just out of his view, blocked by a wall, he could've actually seen that player due to lag and other things. that makes it tough to say for sure...as i said in my first post it does certainly look like walls. but that could just be the demo being screwy. not sure what can be done about that if anything...it's pretty damn impossible for a 3rd party to accurately show what 2 different players see when lag's involved. when you take this into consideration, and that most other instances where it looks like it could be walls can be explained by sound or radar and there are no cross-map walltraces or anything like that...i'd say it's not conclusive, and not enough for a ban. i do still stand by my first post, it LOOKS like walls throughout...but i bet if i watched myself i'd say the same thing.

Through the darkness of futures past,
The magician longs to see
One chants out between two worlds:
Fire, walk with me.
This, sourceTV makes it look more like walls then you think, I don't see nothing here. 14000 is sound steamer. 19000-20000 I don't see anything either. 20000 is a direct result of sourceTV being behind, which makes it look like walls. 25000 looks like a legit shot to me as well. Voting unban.
When will the verdict be given?
I mean tick 14400, switch between the 2 draws and watch. He see's the guy up top, yet it is not visible on actual model showing, he then pre aims to kill.
19-20k rewatched, sound, my fault. Buy me new headphones damnit! lol.
At 25k he turns for the kill shot with bullets going in a faster than normal perfect line even before he see's him.
I know this guy has been around a while, but this shit really does not look legit to me.

Make all your last demands for I will forsake you and I'll meet your eyes for the very first time, for the very last.
maynard <ibis>: they are awkward and last 2 damn long. I prefer thinner smaller ones
If that is the case then your stand point has changed regarding making bans for hacks when you arnt100% sure. As before it was about letting the review process unfold vs letting a potential hacker run free because someone wasn't 100% positive. Better safe then sorry so to speak.
Personal reform
the system for over a year now has been "if you're not sure if a person hacks, do not ban them, you must be confident in your ban" not sure what the hell you're going on about, this is nothing new, like I said.
it's also kinda common sense. worst case senario, in the time you're getting a second opinion, someone else says "hey! this guy HHHAAAAAXXX!" and they post a demo which only makes more support for the ban.
you can easily ban someone at anytime, if you're not sure, leave the person alone... once again... this is nothing new.
clan before me had stated this as it's not fair 2 the person if they don't hack. we're not in the business of banning people till we know what's what. stand by your ban if you make one. "I saw one or 2 iffy things and wasn't sure if he hacked" is not grounds for a ban on someone.
