I guess I fail to see how I would end up homeless mooching off welfare if I lost my leg in action. If it where to unfortunatelyhappen, i would be compasted for x amount of years, usally 20 minus how ever long you were in prior. As an injury of that degree would result in an unwanted medical discharge. Social service and public service are in no way affiliated, apart from taxs, with the defense budget.
