Just as many had expected, Valve has officially announced that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will hit the shelves this summer, not the first quarter, according to
Kotaku.
Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment have been constantly releasing updates over the past few weeks based on the feedback from the increased beta. The delay shouldn't come as a surprise, as many Valve titles release on "Valve time". The company is notorious for delaying its initial release date so they can be sure the game is suited for the open market.
It should be expected that the BETA will continue to expand as many community sites, including ESEA, have been receiving more keys. Valve has also been giving out keys via the survey available on STEAM.
