There is no way 100% of the donations would go into just the program itself, there are things in the real world called "overhead"
and yeah there are shit non-profits out there, ie. invisible children inc. (the Kony2012 movement) who only allocate about 32% into actual help
and no, non-profits do not get grants or ANY help from the government, in fact a lot of non-profits help local/state governments do their job that they should already be doing with our tax dollars. if you really want to see a misallocation of funds, just look where our tax dollars are going.

Lol i use the word government and you immediately assume I said that the government is involves with charities. Re read my post and calm down. Im not saying that the intentions of charities is wrong I'm simply stating an opinion on why I think charities are bullshit. In most cases charities act as a guise for money the charity owner wants to hide. Federal law also states that only 25% of revenue has to be spent on there cause, so brilliant business men and women use it as a form of non taxed income. It's just a harsh reality at the end of the day.
