There is no way 100% of the donations would go into just the program itself, there are things in the real world called "overhead"
and yeah there are shit non-profits out there, ie. invisible children inc. (the Kony2012 movement) who only allocate about 32% into actual help
and no, non-profits do not get grants or ANY help from the government, in fact a lot of non-profits help local/state governments do their job that they should already be doing with our tax dollars. if you really want to see a misallocation of funds, just look where our tax dollars are going.
