I believe the WCS test server is the one that zero is going to let us use.
I'd participate!
I wouldn't

the spectators will be Anex and myself and if all talk is on like it is in normal WCS there will be no issue. this isn't going be a slow paced uber tactical scrim, it's going 2 be very fast, 2 minute rounds. if T's haven't planted by the 2 min mark, CT's win by default.

Only 2 teams? If this becomes successful should there be more than 2 teams for later tourneys? i have a feeling that more than 20 people will want to participate in this. If there is an excess of applications would more teams be added with eliminations or will it just be first come first serve?
its going to be fast eithrr way, not letting the contestants organize and play tacticlly to win kinda defeats the purpous of it being a competition, don't ya think? Correct me if I'm wrong but dosnt turning all talk off also disable dead talk? Or could zero implement the dead talk, as he will need to change the slot amount for the server anyways.
Personal reform
well we can always set it 2 team talk... it doesn't really matter either way.
as the point is for us 2 see who wins, not listen 2 you guys.
keep in mind blackout, this isn't something zero is supporting and just giving 2 the winners, anex came up with the idea and is literally going into his own pocket 2 pay for everything.... so the odds of him supporting even more teams are pretty much slim 2 nill.
the way it is it offers a good scrim with decent rewards once a month.

daayyyumm, how about you just make a league out of all of this its getting crazy in depth hahah. i mean really, have ppl (who chose to) put together their own individual teams of x amount of Pl@Yers an they can train together ect., have matches held ona weekend basis and teams throughout IBIS can compete with oneanother in like a seasonal contesti could make a whole layout of the idea if u want
i could go on further buuut ill just stop now an avoid the offtopic-ness that youre just gonna say no to anyways![]()

Yes. If this becomes successful, there will be many more teams depending on how fast the slots fill. So like lets say, if these slots fill up quickly, the one that will take place in May will be far better. Right now this is a just a test to see if people will take part and if it goes fairly well. This is not a model for how it is always going to look. Hopefully we will be able to do the one on Apr 6 for regulars and Apr 7 for admins.
If both go well, this is how it will look in May:
- Two private servers dedicated soley to the scrim (two matches going simultaniously moderated by clan members)
- Any player can join
- 5v5
- Up to 40 players (up to eight teams for a total of 7 matches)
- Will allow player created teams (have to be done in advanced)
Right now, if there is an excess of applications more will not be added. It will be on a first come first served basis. But remember, this is only an experiment to see how this will work. I don't want like a million people signing up and then having this flop somehow.
The reason why its fast is you either know what you are doing, or you don't. Its ridiculous to have long round times just to have people take forever doing something. There are races that can do a complete circle around the map in a matter of just a few seconds. There is no reason to have rounds longer than 2 minutes. You can still play tactically and complete the objective.
If this takes off, these will be held on the first saturday on each month. What do mean layout O.o?
