I hit Brett right in the feels.
so....... it is past start time whats the plan?
I hit Brett right in the feels.
Tonight's scrim was rather hectic and disorganized from the start, from false starts to half of Team 2 quitting before the end of the first map, but Team 1 managed to strategize well and play cohesively from the very beginning. Regardless of any unfortunate circumstances, Team 1 was better than Team 2 tonight. Congrats, and well played.
Hopefully, the next scrim will be better organized and publicized.

One man's ceiling is another man's floor.
True that the scrim started off bad . Hell there was a chance of no scrim bco ls half the damn players that signed up didnt commit and some didnt even warn us...
So we had to get random ppl to fill in the blanks... Now there's 1 thing u need to know, we WERE well organized bcos we listen to eachother and learned from mistakes (ours and urs). My team had a SLIGHT advantage due to the fact that i won the coin toss at first and got to pick first while we alternate.
Blade leaving was not smthn he should be proud of. And the fillers (gandalf, pred, hells, etc) were rly random, and it could have gone either way. I think we should always have back ups and advertise more.
But it was fun nonetheless for us, and i'd like to think that this is the best balance we've ever seen. And i really want us to keep picking players dodgeball style.
Sm_lo3 (documentig ) in case i needed to host the scrim myself nxt time. Hey, we did the best we could and had fun regardless.
I was there on time, 30 minutes later still not going, I can't commit that much time after I move things around to make room for it at 8.

Couldn't really say anything to the team due to constant interruption from -not naming anyone in particular now-.
Said fuck it, this isn't a scrim at that point, its just a bloodbath. IDK what your definition of "balanced" was Cyber, cause that's a weird balance.
Sorry I couldn't make it but I did tell you guys...though the reason for my absence did change.

Fire, walk with me.
Cyber the teams were not balanced, we clearly had the advantage. Come on I went 27 and like 8 while the next highest person had 8 kills, in a balanced scrim they should have easily shut me down
Also how were we organized?? I literally said fuck it I'm doing what ever I wanted
Sorry I wasn't there, nor left word as 2 why. some family RL shit went down which left me running out the door right before the scrim and not getting home till about 8 hours later.

that's the thing... you did ur thing at some point, while the others followed tom.
i went in between sticking with tom's plan and keeping an eye on you outside with vaga and we helped eachother at some points, especially covering outside.
Blade, Wolf, i2o4, One and only, Gandalf, (And Anex joined for half the game)
VS
Me, Mass, Tom, hell, pred
Clan didn't pick the teams... me and Blade did. I won the coin toss and managed to get the first pick. blade alternated picks with me.
had he won the coin flip, it would have been way different.
and also? it was mostly because of lack of strong players we know to bond with.
Had brett been there (congrats on the internship btw), he'd have been a good counter for masskid... hell i probably would have picked him first if i had the choice bcos masskid gets fucking bored wayy too easily and goes off plan.
so again,,, i'd much rather have a coin flip and pick the teams dodgeball style than to have a clan member pick them based on stats.
1- since you're the one picking ur team, u're the one responsible to chosing the right ppl that synergize well and play well.... and sometimes synergy > skill (an example? wolf vs masskid .... tom vs anex or i2o4)
2- if we do the clan picking thing, if a player bailed, we'd have the worst time balancing shit live... especially if tactics were discussed before.
whereas when we pick the members at the start, take 5 minutes per map, per side to discuss shit before we sm_lo3 this shit, then we can have any replacement join, and the teams rebalance live...
3- albeit 4 out of 5 of us were organized ( yeah, fuck u mass), i do feel bad for the other team bcos their goddamn leader bailed on them mid game (that was shitty blade), and left them hanging. i also dnt know the degree of planning they did..
no but i definitely had a slight advantage , i cant deny it... but i cant take credit for it because it was the coin flip.... had blade gone first, i'd probably have been stuck with ppl i don't play along nice, and the game would definitely have been different.
FINALLY:
let's get these scrims advertised.. in fact? getting a few subs yesterday that never went part in the scrim might have helped advertising bcos they all never heard of it, and/or were too affraid to join bcos they thought it was a big deal... hopefully word will spread and we can have more ppl signing up from now on.
and we'd be more organized....
