    The story of our favorite otaku-imōto and her friends continues on screen! Anyone aware of the ongoing light novel series has long expected the announcement, and it is now official: Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai has been greenlit for a second season!!



    The first season ran in late 2010 from October 3 to December 19, and aired 12 episodes. Four additional episodes were released on the web during the summer of 2011. Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai is an anime adaption of the light novel series by Tsukasa Fushimi; nine novels have been released, the latest of which was released in September 2011.
