Phil: He did not claim to have jailed Scribs till after Scribs claimed to have done a useless heal. How is that ballsy?
Well, here's my thought process on who to vote for. Supposing all claims and actions are telling the truth.
Pass - We lose a double voter.
Blade - We don't hit a scum.
Nem - We lose our utility.
Kion - We're stupid.
Mikey - We're aiming for clear.
Phil - We lose nothing.
Aco - We lose nothing.
Wolf - we're using our shot early.
Me - We're not aiming for the n3 killer.
Here's what we gain if they are scum:
Pass: If he's scum, we need to kill scum today, or we lose
Blade: We killed a scum.
Nem: If he's godfather jailer, we kill the jailer. If he's just godfather, he's been playing out the moves of the jailer mafiaso.
Kion: We prove Nem right about our collective intelligence.
Mikey: We kill the Godfather.
Phil: We kill a scum.
Aco: We kill a scum and about the scum.
Wolf: We learn What is a crazy man.
Me: We kill a scum.
Supposing we're going for the killer from last night, and believe the clears didn't do it, there's blade, aco, phil, wolf and Pass. Pass can be neutralized by killing any scum tonight, and is a boon if he's not scum. Wolf being scum requires thinking wicked thoughts about What. If we're looking for information, I'd go for Aco. If we're looking at who I think is most scummy from that list of 5, I'd aim for Blade or Phil. If we're just looking for scum and are gambling, I'd go for Nem.
As for why I'm still looking at Nem, he keeps making strange claims and comments. He was convinced Scribs was lying because of this. He stayed on Scribs till we lynched Sin.
Next I'll look at his posts as to why he can't be lying about his role. We have this post. Point 1 is only valid if there IS a jailer. If there isn't, mod wouldn't PM anyone in any case. If there is a mafiaso jailer, you can either gamble, or, target the mafiaso who isn't doing anything. Could have had his target communicate if their was a confirmation or not, or, if he's playing out someone else's moves, have had the jailer target him, and have sure confirmation. Point 2 can be solved by naming a goon, or guessing. With the night information, you'd only have to avoid a few targets. If there is no jailer, you only really have to avoid the cop, because you can just claim no night message is sent to most other roles. Point 3 is only valid for the first time, which reads almost exactly like point 2. Day 3, he didn't say who he "jailed" till AFTER that player totally claimed his move. Day 4, the cop is already revealed. Too many things to get right? I see one or two things you need to get right, which can go down to nothing if you play it safe.
As an aside, you thought you DID know the first point. Remember, that's why you kept pushing Scribble as scum. Because he wasn't actually a power role and therefore didn't get a confirmation that he was blocked.
This is the earlier version. Point 1: If you're scum, having a single ally who does know the show might help. If one of them has this role, it's easier. The flavour probably wouldn't be duplicated because, like Blade's, he was not always on the side of good. With that role, he was downright evil. Point 2, you're choosing a dual role in a only partially powered game, with at least one mentioned healer. Again, if you're playing someone else on your team, this is moot in any case. Point 3, See point 2 of the prior one.
A scum has to lie somewhere in the game. The earlier it happens, the safer the claim can be if it pays off. Yes, you have to gamble, but this was not a dangerous claim by any stretch of the imagination. Stealing a teammates claim while having a clear is far from dangerous. Knowing people think your play is scummy makes it more likely that you will be searched.
Heck, this is more a joke point, but he has suggested lynching himself here. Scrib was Town, he doesn't think both of them would be town, ergo...
I don't like his claim, I don't like his play. His role has been almost useless for town, if it's really there, luckily it wasn't harmful. It's made himself seem indispensable for town without actually doing anything of use. Voted for the policy and was pushing to lynch our remaining healer.
