yeah he loved that plane. but in late 1944 he transferred to 247 Squadron Typhoon fighter bomber where he flew tank hunting missions over the ardenne.

my great grandfather was a merchant marine on a ship that never came back to port.

the unsung hero's of ww2 in my opinion.

my great grandfather was a merchant marine on a ship that never came back to port. thats all i know. i can dig up more when i call my grandmother.
