The console "N64" that I found under my parents bed when I was 10-13? Santa either dropped it off early or my mother got it for him to give me – after all, he didn't actually know me. The kids on my bus who told me there was no Santa Claus? They were no authorities – they were fellow kids. My father confirming it? He was just being mean....

I didn't believe anyone until I heard Phoebe Cates' extremely weird, extremely dark monologue in Gremlins about her father dressing up as Santa Claus, slipping, breaking his neck and getting stuck in his family's chimney for days. Maybe it was the morbidity, maybe it was her delivery, maybe it was the fact that I was so entranced by that movie about impossibly cute, music-playing, English-understanding, upright guinea pigs with Persian cat eyes little munchkins that turned into havoc-wreaking monsters, that I was willing to accept anything it threw at me. When Cates ended her monologue with, "And that's how I found out there was no Santa Claus," that's how I found out there was no Santa Claus.

I found out by finding a bunch of presents in my parents closet, then I got a few of those presents for Christmas.
This happened when I was about 8-9.

I told my parents I don't believe in Santa and they said why not and I said because it's a mathematical impossibility. To which they said son we need you to sit down for a moment...blarg. As if we already didn't know. I was 5 btw...just for the record.

i was about 8 or 9, made my christmas list and changed it on the 23rd, giving santa enough time to change my order but not giving enough time for my parents to make the proper adjustments. adjustments weren't made, therefore no santa.

I dont recall when It was. However what I dont understand are some parents need to refuse to admit he isn't real. What do you gain out lieing to your kid?You can just say every family has their own santa, instead of insisting there is one santa. I am just not the biggest fan of straight out lieing them even when they start to have "faith" problems with santa. Feeling compelled to prove to them santa is weird I feel is putting your resources in the wrong thing.

Never believed in him. Before I knew of his existence, I walked into my mom's room while she was wrapping gifts, because I was bored (and looking for my GBA SP + Pokemon Ruby Version). My mom had me help her put tags and wrap presents for the other kids in the family. There were multiple gifts, and we wrote our names or our mother's name on the "From" section. We also wrote Santa on a number of them. Pretty easy for any kid to figure out that we were tricking the other kids in the family, although I was unaware why then. And some time later, at school, I realized who this "Santa" was supposed to be and how everyone in my class were fooled.

Back In sixth grade one of my friends still believed in Santa.
I tried to convince him that there was no Santa but he told a teacher that I was telling him this so I got in trouble.
Now we are in eight grade and he finally found out the truth.
P.S he found this out in seventh grade.

I have always been the suspicious one in my family, and I often snoop for my answers. I seriously should be a secret agent.
Before Christmas one year I looked through garbage cans and found wrapping paper. Same wrapping paper on the gifts that year. I was the first of my friends to ruin Christmas for everyone else.
