Today most of America moved their clocks one hour forward. This makes me sooo mother fucking excited. Two reasons. One, the sun dosen't set so soon so I am less sad more happy. And two, it's going to get warmer that makes me so happy. Fuck you winter.
Yeah so set your clocks IBIS (unless this doesn't apply to you.)

And im just up here in SD going lololol snow. I will drive my fount wheel drive car on dat ice.
I still think with the way the world is today the idea of having different times is so stupid. Why not have 1 universal time and then we schedule things around that instead of moving time around b/c you can not actually move time around the shit is all going on at the same dam time your just calling it different numbers.
Example lets say a tv show currently airs at 3pm EST, 12pm PST
It would just air at 3PM everywhere for example. There is then only 1 global date not some people 1 day ahead and behind.
There is then no longer the issusion of lost or gained time. There is just the differnece in which time people are actually doing stuff.
Example in the east cost work ends at 5pm but in west work ends at 8pm. The numbers are abaratry they just let us scrynize us to the same timescale we then do what we do now and preform actions in different areas at different physical times but at least we are all on the same clock.
Take not for example that all of space uses a universal time. If your on the moon regardless of where or in orbit around earth the local time is GMT 0

damn straight! summer solstice is an awesome ceremony. suprisingly more somber than winter's, but a hell of alot more frantic and fun.

Don't insult pagans... Not all of them are infidels and heathens.

Actually by definition I'm pretty sure they are.

Pagans celebrate holidays like winter and summer solstice. Christians celebrate Christmas. Seasons are real god well not so much.

yes and no, some people perfectly can justify both a christian and wiccan lifestyle. depending on the particular flavor of wicca you subscribe to, the many-faced god can be pretty much expanded to encorporate almost ANY diety, as long as there is some connection to death and nature.
personally, i think that's a bit of a stretch, though my beliefs are in many ways simpler and FAR more complex all at once.

Not really, I mean people can justify whatever they feel like, but at the end of the day there are certain aspects of Christianity that can not coincide with Wiccan beliefs, regardless of how one wants to paint them.
Anywho, this thread as taken a sharp turn from Charmikal's insanity to neo-paganism.

again, not really. it all depends on how you want to view things, with the Lord as having multiple aspects (the Goddess and the Many-faced god), or as a philosophical "association" between the two of them.
regardless, Dischordianism is still the best

I Just do what I want with out thinking of God. I'm the only one in charge of my life.
My point was, you can view things however you want, but at a certain point your creating connections that do not exist and no one besides yourself would accept as valid. If you want to be a Hindu and a Christian at the same time, you can make whatever arguments as to why that works, but at a fundamental level it requires you to compromise one, if not both, belief systems.

I believe, Aco, What was trying to tell you that exactly the same thing you just said about Hinduism and Christianity also applies to Wicca and Christianity. And, for the record, I agree with him. There are tenets of both Wicca and Christianity that are pretty core to the respective belief systems that make them mutually exclusive.
Now, let's get back on topic.
DIE IN THE FUCKING FIRE DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME.
