Generation Kill

I was wondering if many other people in IBIS had seen Generation Kill (particularly the ones in the military). I'm currently watching it for a second time and was wondering what your thoughts were about it as to the realism. I work with a lot of ex-military guys at my internship and have gotten mixed reviews. I know its rather harsh on the officers, but that's expected from a show about the enlisted man.

Any thoughts?

I saw like the opening episode thing. I thought it was good, idk about the realism though.
