This kid has gotten on my nerves a bit lately with his fucking bhopping anytime hes zombie he bhops to the front of the humans in a matter of seconds and even if you shoot him while mid bhop he still manages to keep coming at you as if hes a fucking deformed on cade maps i also noticed he always gets tagged on purpose so that he can repeatedly go around bhoping killing everyone just wanted to see if he can get banned for this maybe hes using scripts or something cause i didnt think you could bhop on zmod anymore just take a look...

I have reviewed a portion of the demo especially between ticks 7900 and 8600.

I personally think there is something fishy going on with where he does not slow down after hopping, it seems like he's just picking up more speed.

I will leave this up to the higher management to decide upon as far as if he is truly cheating.

I just wanted to give my input on this as an admin, plus Druken Irishrush has been noticing this going on for some time now.

I've always thought he was using scripts of some sort, personally.. I know how to bhop, and nowhere near perfect with it.. sometimes i'll get a bunch of good hops out of it and other times it stops me dead in my tracks and makes me fall back farther than if I would of just strafe ran. He's to perfect with it.. Anyone who bhops legit knows that you will miss hops, scripts don't miss hardly ever.. something to keep an eye on for sure.

I Agree 100% with you Jax. Something just dose not seem right in my gut with this.

But like I said, I don't want to assume this kid is cheating, even know it clearly looks that way to me.

I want to leave it up to someone who has more experience than me to determine if cheating is actually taking place.

I would like to point out that this bhopping would not be at all possible if not for the map ze_harry_potter_v1_cfix2. In that map when you reach the extreme stages the anti-bhop setting the server has is disabled (or whatever stops bhopping), and that effect carries on even after the map is over and a new one is loaded. So the anti-bhop setting will be disabled until the server restarts. This is like the grenade particle that carries on even after the map is over (ze_cyberderp). To avoid future complications if bhopping ever becomes an issue I implore admins to restart the server... I don't know if regular admins can, or if restarting the server is bad, but if they cant do it they definitely should.

Potter extreme + poison class = easy bhop. You dont even need scripts to bhop good with that combo. I'm not going to argue whether he scripts or not (maybe hyper-scroll?) I just want to clearify that Potter is making this all possible, and should be taken care of... :I

In all honesty, if this happened after bhop was enabled on potter maps then he isn't scripting, because I bhop better than he does when that occurs, I've reached 600 speed on shroom forest once with that combo. Though if you really need to prove your point you have to find a demo with him bhopping without potter map glitch. I do believe though that it is possible that he scripts I have watched him for over a month even when The extreme potter glitch isn't on he has some good bhops.. i can't even bhop when it's off, because there's a speed limit on ibis zm.

From my experience of watching him for some time now, I vote scripter.

you must be confused, i posted that not to defend him but to incriminate him. He openly admits that he has a script and now evidence arises that clreaely shows him jump scripting. The point isnt that his sis downloaded it but the fact that he has it, knows about it, and is using it. And yes you are right not banning him b/c his sis got the script would go against what has happend before.

This guy is a dear friend of mine.
That being said, before the new version of Harry Potter was released, I noticed him bhoping on the server. Unfortunately, I became aware that he could never surpass my speed which I gained while strafe running with a scout. I've noticed that many complain about his bhoping, but soley for the purpose of getting tagged (rage). He takes advantage of getting shot at. I'm sure you are all aware that the poison class is given increased knock back. He then strafes after being shot to become ahead of the group of CTs. Majority of those who have complained are just flaming for that reason, but misunderstand it as bhoping, unless I am incorrect.

Regarding the bug on ze_harry_potter_v1_cfix2, it needs to be fixed. Bhop is enabled after going to extreme. Any administrator can notice it when enabling /rcon_alltalk 1, and he or she will notice in the sv_tags.
If the server does not crash, or if the server is not put into a restart, then it stays enabled. And considering that we play that map multiple times every day, then it is inevitable that bhoping will stay enabled unless the bug is debugged.

But I just finished watching the demo a few times.

I'm not seeing bhop scripts at all. Yeah, he gains speed, but he's not consistent with his speed.
He loses little bit of speed randomly. Slightly, but still losing speed. With scripts, you keep that speed if not gain speed.

Also, it's poison class...I understand if he was a fast zombie and bhopping, that's one thing, but it's poison..More than enough time to get ready for the next jump as well as strafe in the air.

I vote no ban for bhop scripts, but he does want to get banned. So....LOL

But seriously, I vote no ban.
