The hell, Canada. The hell.
So hey, what do you see when you wake up in the morning? (Yes, yes, morning wood, I know I know.)

Wait wait, is this going to turn into a "my snow is worse than your snow!" contest? Because I realize it isn't a shit ton of snow or anything, it's just... IT'S MID OCTOBER. I had never even seen snow until 2 years ago, so I still have a cow whenever I can catch flakes on my tongue and see the water frozen coming out of the outside faucet and things like that.

Yeah, I'm in Alberta. I actually paid for winter driving lessons last year because I had never driven in the snow and developed a phobia of it.
Where in BC are you? I go up to Kimberley on occasion.

Yeah, they do, but the kids often have to put big winter jackets on over their costumes, so it's kind of sad. It's interesting how so much of Canada's culture is influenced by the snow. Constant snow really increases the overall cost of living, as well.

Gasoline-powered blowers, propane torches, and gas-fired chainsaws!
On another note, I'm starting to fall in love with you/your spontaneity of posts and I don't even know you. Is this bad?
I'm praying for snow tomorrow.

No snow in Metro Detroit, yet.
It's pretty bad up in the Upper Peninsula though. They normally get snow in the beginning of November and have it till April.

I love the snow even when I have to shovel it.

Quit your bitching about snow, we have it worse here in the mid-missouri.
Know what happens when it starts to snow, but its too warm to be snow? It melts but then it refreazes as it hits the ground, turning it into ice rain.
Meaning that everything gets covered in ice, trees turn into giant icecicles roads become so damn thick that unless they have been salted you can't drive.
By the way... why was this month old thread revived?

You can complain when you try to drive in the middle of bum fucking nowhere (upper penninsula of Michigan) in the middle of January with a fucking Dodge Neon.
Hit a patch of black ice and spun into a hill of snow. The damn thing was completely buried.

I'm jealous. We haven't had any snow yet here in Michigan. Today it was 50 degrees and rainy.
