Anyone watching them? I'm a pretty big indi fan. In the nfc, I believe mini will win. I'm watching the sports analysis for the afc championship game, and thank the lord maynerd isn't playing this week for the colts. They really need to find a decent 2nd string qb.

The winner of the colts vs jets game is who I want to win at the super bowl. I hate NO and Vikings.

My teams aren't in (Pats and Packers) so I don't care. I want NO cause I can't stand Favre anymore.

I like both teams. The 49ers will always be my team son. Peyton manning is just a stud. I'm a big fan of his individualy. I've been following him since his days as a vol

looks like the Saints have discovered that they can't wint his game faily so they'll just try to take Favre out with cheap shots...these its are getting later and later, and they just tried to twist an ankle.

why even have an overtime? i mean if the ref's are going to give the game to the Saints then they should have just done it at the coin toss...

Yeah, some of the calls were outrageous in the overtime, but anyhow. Favre made a fatal mistake at the last possession of the 4th trying to make that throw. He could have ran the ball and gain 5-10yrd, and won the game with a field goal. Although I wanted a Super Bowl rematch with Favre vs. Manning, the Saints played hard and deserves their first Super Bowl appearance, so congrats to them. What an impressive kick by Hartley.

Good riddance Favre. Now retire like you were the last 2 times. Saints deserve the Super Bowl. Def. America's team like the Pats were in 2001 after 9/11

I don't like Favre. Get the fuck over it. I rather have a young QB like Rodgers then an old undecided hack like Favre. Toodles.

favre is the greatest QB of all time, he just couldn't stay in GB. with their terrible o-line rogers was a better fit. Favre is still better tho rogers is promesing.

I've been spoiled by watching Brady win 3 Super Bowls. I can't stand an athlete who says "I'm retiring" and then piss on an organization by signing for their rivals. Favre did it twice on me by going to the Jets of all shitty teams.

I got upset when Junior Seau said he was retiring then came back to the Patriots twice. Seriously if your done playing, leave. One of my good friends used to love Favre until he went to the Vikings.

Favre and Childress have bumped heads through the season. He got pissed because he got taken out since Childress doesn't want to risk injury to Favre. Looking at Favre play is like looking at paper mache. I cringe everytime an old QB wants to play tougher than they are. All the hits Favre took just proved that to me. Interceptions and hard hits. Like AI said... Favre made some huge brain farts in this game and even in 07 I still am pissed at that game

how so? it is true, girls can't play football, nothing wrong with it, it's just they're not physically able.

Women don't play football. They play rugby. Twice as difficult without the pussy padding and helmets. Not sure why anyone plays sports with helmets anyways. It increases the chance of brain injury.

The helmet thing? It's proven. Helmet to helmet contact rattles on the head. It's why in the 70s hockey was played without helmets for awhile. It wasn't required. After helmets were required, you see more violent hits and teens/college/pro getting paralyzed or developing brain injuries and concussions are 10x worse, but you don't hear about it until an ex player comes out and says something. And don't get it confused with boxing, although Mohammad Ali should be proof enough wacks to the head turns your brain to mush.

The patriots nor the saints were ever americas team. The patrots are low life cheaters that don't diserve a single ring they hover the past 8 years. The only team to ever be americas team were the cowboys. Other then that, don't be a moron and put the current events into sports entertainment.

They were dubbed America's team that year. The underdog to the Rams. Underdogs always get the "darling" reputation. Secondly, I love how people use the "Spygate" scandal. They got caught with recorded stealing signs just like any other sport does. In softball and baseball the coaches job was to pick up on any signs the other team was throwing out. A-Fraud earned his hitting career by stealing signs. Except in this case, Mangina the guido decided to be a vindictive little troll (btw where is that little fag now) and cry because his Jets team was terrible.

Every team does it. Teams are allowed to tape warm ups before Super Bowls etc etc. That's what some of these NFL camera men are paid for. Except the Patriots and Belichick decided to be brazen about it. Other then that... I could careless.

there have been more injurys since the 70's because people have naturally gotten larger, faster, and stronger. in 1982 (around there) washington had the largest o-line in the history of football, at an average of 280 lbs. Now there are QB's who weigh that much.

saying that helmets cause more damage is just stupid, why do rugby players suffer 4 times more head and neck injurys? no helmets. most injurys arn't caused from you running into someone at full speed, its from hitting the back of your head off the ground/ice where most concussions come from.

also a helmet prevents your neck from bending the crunchy way.

Proven where?

I would think that it is obvious that something to diffuse a blow to the head would help prevent injury.

"Helmets and face shields are proven to significantly reduce head and face injuries..."

As someone who continues to play the sport of hockey, I trust the helmet to do its job (and the only injuries I have sustained are cuts to the face, lacerated spleen, and a knee injury) and I wouldn't play hockey without one.

Anyways on topic: I really haven't cared for football since the Pats lost in 2008. My home team (Lions) has never been good since I've been alive so I really couldn't care less.

I'm talking about brain injuries not actual "facial" injuries. Go talk to former LB Ted Johnson of the Patriots, Roman Phifer who is now a coach with the Broncos or former forward of BU Hockey Travis Roy. Although you should know the only thing REALLY protecting your head is a measly mouth guard.

your bounties have yet ceased to end until the ring is on the finger... which is at Miami's Sun Life Stadium on Febuary 7th, 2010... it is here that the Indianoplis Colts, will attempt to take on Drew Brees and the instoppable gold and black New Orleans Saints... both coming off impressionable wins in their conferences... but on this day only one will come out Champions... and needless to say, The New England Patriots can only watch and wait....

Good luck i SAY, GOOD LUCK!

You talk about the Jets being a horrible team? Id say that even thought I am a Patriots fan, their team, which led a lot of categories in stats, has improved greatly this year. After their Week 10 when they were 4-6, the defense shaped up and look at Dirty Sanchez err Mark Sanchez. This rookie QB stepped up his game and showed that he could lead. Sure the defense was crippled against the Colts but look at the first half....jesus christ shut the Colts down. look to see great things from the Jets next season, but the Patriots still own them!!!!

Btw...The Saints vs The Colts......interesting game. Like MBP said, the colts will take it, but the game will be very tough. The Saints have almost no experience in a game like that, and they will fall under pressure to the Colts. Still tight game tho....

Colts will win. Why? All the colts talked about and the talk surrounding the colts was "to win the super bowl". All the talks surrounding the saints, "to GET to the super bowl". The colts are more prepared mentally to win a game like this, however I am sure it will be a really good game.
