the main reason demo's are required is so they can be forwarded to steambans. Most clan members and some admins have been around long enough that bans such as this wont be overturned but without the demo we cant get the hackers account vac banned

well, i'm pretty sure sourcetv is more as a backup in case abuse happens.

but the logs are wiped every 3 days or so, so you can't pull a demo after a short time.

It doesn't matter.. We have his Steam ID just from him connecting.. Connect that with the person hacking and you got yourself undeniable proof.

Unless u have access to Source TV and can input into Server bans via VAC, then a demo WITH SB_STATUS is highly favorable.

Having the above permissions is something that I doubt we see anytime soon, although, IMO, certain IBIS members and ADMINS should be allowed this opportunity to take the heat off ZERO...
