What's the most little-known and obscure you've ever played?
I'd say Alpha Storm for MS-DOS.
It's a spaceship combat simulator where you control the ship in a top-down view AND an FPS game where you can walk around your ship, defend it against boarding enemies, and even board enemy ships.
Despite being one the best games I've played, all of TAG's other games getting excellent reviews, and also being published by Psygnosis Limited (You know, the guys who made the underrated Colony Wars series),the game is unheard of outside a Mobygames page,a short page on firstpersonshooters.net,and on a couple of shady Russian/Spanish abandonware websites on the web.
Here's a Mobygames page if your interested:

Crazy Bus
Action 52
Asian Bootleg NES games
Over 2000 different shareware PC games
My favorite would have to be Strife for the PC.

Real War, the game was so bad it crashed if and only when you started to win. Yes you can finish the map only if you lose otherwise it crashes when you attack. I doubt many ever played it.
Also the original Line Rider, from back when it was really easy to make him fall off.

I don't know..Wolfteam maybe. I liked it a lot but it lagged too bad. All the old titles I've played are all well-known.

Lunicus for the PC :D
There is like nothing online about it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lunicus Story is good, gamplay is meh, but what do you expect for a half assed fps(can it be called that?) from 94?
I want to say "You Dont Know Jack" but I dont think that is obscure.
Oh and NAKR (North american Kart rider) I played both closed and open beta, and then nothing ever came of it :/ It is the 3rd most competitive game in korea if I remember right though.

Probably Tecmo's Secret of the Stars for SNES. It was a fun game, but the translations were hilariously bad.
Also, Lightspeed for DOS.

I had that game for the NES. Had some sick soundtracks but the best soundtrack for the NES games will have to be Jackie Chan Action Kung Fu.
But enough about soundtracks as it isn't the main topic here...timelord itself was a very unusual game and concept...the western cowboy ish stage...the boss is almost impossible if you don't know what you're doing...you could be stuck fighting him pretty much forever...
Interesting game, nonetheless...
