I did the ban. Guy said he was from Japan with a ping of 21-26... that was the first hint something was off.

I watched the guy for 3 maps before banning. Owns and Xen were also on and can vouch for how off this guy was.

Yeah he was deffinitly walling and kept getting impossible kills, some sort of ping masking as well but it was fluctuating so it was wierd. Plus I think Tentos said he had like 30 wins in the past week or something? Which isn't impossible but i'm on the server all the time and barely ever see him.

Actually I asked James and Maynerd to review.... James said Hacker... but Maynerd said not sure (wouldn't have banned)... at this point Im gonna let the ban stand and try to get Zero to review it.

I'm gonna have 2 agree with him... not on the part you're dumb or anything... but I don't think he hacks.. and this demo doesn't show anything worth banning over... and yes, I'm aware there's 3-4 times where he makes uber fast shots around corners and what not, but the truth is there's more times where he's surprised and gets pwwnd then there is him actually pwwning other people. people do play rounds where they're just on fire and do amazing shit.. I know this cause if it wasn't for being known in this community I would have been bannd for hacks a couple of times. I personally would not ban with the demo provided.... I would wait for more solid evidence. the person in question does make some amazing shots, but also fucks up plenty of times, and pull shit that left me kinda going well shit, I noticed that person before you, and would have made a move faster then you have... as I said... id wait on more solid evidence. send it 2 vac bans though...see what they have 2 say.

If she was hacking this will allow us a chance to make a stronger demo to submit to VAC...
and if it was just skill mixed with blind luck than there shouldn't be any further problems.

Ugh, I did see this one and I also banned my cousin from ever using anything of mine whenever they visit again. He said that he just wanted to play half-life 2 while I was at work so I left steam open and told him not to touch anything else, but apparently that is an open invitation to do whatever the hell he wants to a 14 year old, and that is exactly what he did. >_<

So yeah, that one is up to you guys and girls whether you believe me or not, sooo....yeah w/e.

you must not be involved in any competitive scene for any fps. 13 - 17 year olds are a huge percentage of cheaters. they get their mommies and daddies to get them to pay for privately coded cheats on a regular basis.

forgive me, when i said old steam account, i merely meant the one you used to play on these servers with.

regardless of how big your steam id is, they're both your accounts. there's no point in denying it. this isn't a conspiracy theory.

I myself wouldn't say that almost 600 other connections of unknown addresses is a handful, they could have been using a proxy or a number of other methods to mess with things, or since pretty much everyone has at least a few hundred unknown addresses, it's possible that they connected with anywhere from 1 to 6 or 7 different IPs that were unable to be logged for whatever reason.

I have played and do play on many other servers, so I don't exclusively play on just this one. There are also a lot of other players that as good and better than me. I've run into quite a lot of them.

My old router was dying and required me to restart it 3 times a day. I was banned on here once for racism (called alex a nigger) and that was over 6 months ago. ReSin... I know we can't prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are the same person who was banned from Ibis as Nix, but the thing is you are very defensive for someone who has done no wrong. Telling these great extravagant stories, and explaining how since there is a .00005% chance you arent the same person as Nix does no good for situation. The underlying problem is the walls in the demo, which I take fault for not demoing you for a couple more maps, but the evidence of hacking is there.

Edit to add: Even if ReSin and Nix are not the same player, Nix's IP should be banned just to be sure Nix doesnt play Ibis servers anymore. If this happens to also ban ReSin out of coincidence then that is an inconvenience, but a necessary one if it gets hackers like Nix off our servers.

look resin. the fact is is that while you're right we can't prove that you and nix are the same person, it's a fuckload more likely that you are instead of all these coincidences. lets list them

1) your account been banned from another server (for same reason)
2) share IP w/ a VAC'd account (also, got banned from our server)
3) share a NAME with said VAC'd account


now, the only thing i will say in your defense is that it's a bit strange for you to return after about 5 months. but that's far outweighed by the other conditions

If I had not said anything about it you all would have jumped to the same conclusions. So really it is just a catch .22 for me. (Try google again for this). And of course now someone will most likely say, "no we wouldn't" w/e.
