This Fucking hate group is suppose to be in my area today to protest a fallen soldies funeral and give a hate speech, i hope they do because the Patriot MC is hereand i hope they kill the bastards for being such condesending bastards.

a small group protested three of my buddies funerals. I wish the patriot mcs were available for their service's but they weren't around. westboro hasn't been stopped yet and i doubt they'll be stopped any time soon.
they're ignorant and you have to learn not to pay them any attention (including any media regarding them).
as long as people dislike them and give them the credit they don't realize their giving to westboro by starting threads like this, they will be around. they're feeding off of our hate for them.
i'm not against this thread but hopefully you understand what i mean. :assault:westboro

but yeah, scribbs, if i had been in your position, i probably would have been in jail for at least a few days. fuck, even if it wasn't a friend's funeral, i'd probably get arrested for breaking several of their faces.

In Criminal Justice class we were talking about something similar, and apparently they're protesting because these soldiers apparently were fighting for gay rights, which they hate.
Ironically, they were also fighting for their right to protest on the sidewalk without being shot in the face by my 12 gauge. Imagine that.

They are not only protesting for that reason. They are protesting because they believe that this country has turned against the Christian God. In their eyes, soldiers are defending the women who get abortions, adulterers, homosexuals, thieves and everything else the bible deems as evil. Just like Jerry Fawell when he was talking about 9/11.
I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People for the American Way -- all of them who have tried to secularize America -- I point the finger in their face and say 'you helped this happen.'
Same thing except the westboro baptist church does it more vocally. God, I hate religion.

so this is a touchy subject for me im going to make it quick or i will begin ranting about the several ways i would like to murder them.
they are actually stupid.. i went to there site and read a bit, they have a horrible web designer they mis spell half there words. They are simply Uneducated and i find it funny.
Due to the fact they are all uneducated fucks they wont be able to reason on any sort of future terms or debates, why? because they are a bunch of inbred sinning hillbillys who arnt smart enough to have an intellectual conversation about anything.
p.s. how do you find out where they do there protests, i want to go to one of there protests in my uniform.

Two things,
1 - They aren't all uneducated fucks. Fred Phelps, Jr is a lawyer employed by the department of corrections. Know and respect your enemy.
2 - I don't recommend showing up in uniform if you're looking to start a scene. CO/XO won't be happy!

Perry and Blade's description of Michael Moore is pretty well accurate. Just because in this one instance he did something funny or that pretty much everyone might agree with, doesn't change the type of character he generally is.
And it's pretty clear Perry isn't supporting Westboro, so I'd like to say for his sake, back off. I may not know Perry well, but I know him well enough to not say stupid shit like that.
Also, I really hope you didn't just equate conservatives to Westboro Baptist Church. I'd have to call you ignorant if you did that.

I dont support them and I hate them for what they spew out of there mouths, but is there anything i can do about it? No. This is America, and last time i checked the government hasnt stamped out Freedom of speech....yet.
So they can say whatever they like. Even if I dont agree with it.

Everyone needs to choose their battles and getting enraged about <150 people is a waste of time and energy.
Their ideals are grossly misdirected and no one disagrees with that except the members of the church. So what else is there to do?
