Was looking good until I saw ATI... hope those drivers do not end up turning that nice book into a real paper weight.

But the stats on that are pretty nice :wtg:

Great looking laptop with high end specs, good catch.

ATI would be the only drawback as Zero said. I haven't had near as many issues with nvidia than I've had with ATI.

ya I don't use ATI just cause of all the horror stories ive heard. Nvidia all the way

I haven't had many problems if any at all w/ the ATI in my laptop.

the only graphics-relate problem was that my BIOS got itself forced into using the on-boar grafics and not the discrete card...but that wasn't ATI's fault.

I should note that I have never had any problems with the physical ati cards just the drivers drove me mad.

I have 12 pc's and they are pretty much split between nVidia + ATI.

I have NEVER had a problem with either that I couldn't solve relatively quick and that goes for both side of the fence. Let's face it, when it blows up or fucks up, they ALL suck!! My main box has twin OC'd 4890's that scream and 1 of the reasons that I bought this and sent the G72 w/ 260 nVidia back was the graphics card! :P

Anyway, I really like it and will be benching it soon although it already has and it ROX !
Damn its better than my #2 desktop :P

Agreed never used ATI in a laptop but long as you got everything for a good price, thats all that matters. Nice Laptop and hope to see you more :wtg:
