apparently when u get killed while having ur screen flipped from an ennemi on panorama, when u respawn, whether ur own skill or bloodmage (tested this one),
ur screen is seriously fucked up and tilted AFTER u respawn, and the panorama guy is not even on the same field as u ...any reason/

why is it that you cant just move your mouse right and turn right when your screen is tilted you have to move it at an angle and it happens every time i get shot and will make walls disappear while upside down along with some of the people.

i think that "Flip ur screen" doesnt mean to flip ur image vertically, and see evreything upside down, but that it forces u to look UP, into the mid air and not be able to do shit about it?

no offence but i just got rematched ELEVEN fucking times against jonny5v, and EVREY time i respawn with a goddamn GLOCK! a mother fucking GLOCK against his M4.... and he lkills me EVERY TIME, and u cant even stop it, it just loops on its own!

the race should get its gun back and thats IT. same goes for genocide's deja vu!

and i figured a little wcs would cool me down , untill i kept getting rematched many times like above... trying to level up panorama to get to vagabond.
i raged bcos i thought that in other threads there was a discussion that genocide isnt supposed to get its gun back...i mistook it for the panorama at first... but either way, i didnt mean it to be fixed NOW like LIVE, i was commenting on the fact that it "needed" to be fixed, bcos i thought everyone else was happy with the current settings.
my bad everyone :) sry zero again, forgot about ur vacation:S lol

technically, it doesn't get its guns back so much as it spawns on top of them. that's why genocide doesn't get them. they use ult, move, and then die, then warp back to where they used ult. the guns are still over by their body.

Yeah, when you respawn with this, you respawn with your pistols only, not exactly a helpful bonus when the guy who killed you is hold an ak to your head 1 ft away, its basically free kills till you change class or get LUCKY and don't respawn again...lol

as i said, the reason panorama "gets" its guns back when it respawns, is because they respawn on top of its own corpse. the problem w/ doing that for genocide is that people normally use deja vu before entering a room, die, then come back outside of the room. in order for genocide to work, the mod would need to "save your weaps to give them back to you

for genocide, if u moved after activation its hard to get back to ur guns, RE-EQUIP them if u have the "switch to primary gun" feature off, RELOAD it if it was empty or wtvr, AND find the enemy before he sprays u down to a meat sack.

same for panorama as for genocide, if u died, the gun is where u died sure, but what about when the enemy picks up ur gun? might be personal opinion but if i died holding a fully loaded ak by a surprise attack from a guy with a deagle, and the enemi took my loaded ak and i respawn in my place with a pistol, but cant find my gun anymore while the enemy now has MY fully loaded ak to spray the shit out of me... yeah... i dnt like that...

summary to above for those lazy to read:
genocide and panorama should get their guns back with the amo u had back when u died. or at least a full amo if u "really" wanna call this an "advantage" to the race considering other races' ultimates are powerful.
also, the opponent in PANORAMA should get the gun they had at the time. if they had a pistol, not my fucking problem, its a rematch, he got lucky once, maybe he can do it again, without MY stolen ak...
can it be done?:) thanks zero for ur comment above.

zero? do u have any effect on the "drop height" of when u spawn? so that it spawns u nearer to the ground than in mid air and glitch u basically ANYWHERE inside the offices or crack/nipper houses?

Yeah, spawning on top of your guns doesn't help either when it takes a second for your guns to be active before firing, by then, your already dead. All someone has to do is look at there screen and see the 8 seconds and then bamb, your done. I say get rid of the warning!!!!!. :) I killed chuck 30 times, litterally, he was 0 and 30 because I was warned that he was going to respawn, so I aimed my gun at his head and he didn't even get a chance to move and he was down, and he would respawn 10 times in a row....lol This isn't really a benifit to a player if they are killed by a halfway decent READER

I am actually working on some code to change the way spawing and teleports work so that you can make a client go to the floor. This will take some time. As for the weapons you should now spawn with them, if the issue is that you need to select your primary I can code it so that it auto selects your primary weapon after you get it so that it is ready as fast as possible.

Another possible option could be to make the players face away from each other or have no view for a second or something before hand but this would be a change from the original and will be looked more at in the future.

yeah i didnt know that the other person got a warning of being rematched... it should go imho... its the fact that its a surprise attack that give u that little edge...i have activated this skill litterally more than 150 times these 2 days only (counting them), and sometimes 15 times straight... yet i only managed to re-win barely 20% of those bcos i was getting sprayed to the head before i even managed to know where the fuck the person is shooting me from...
facing away might be a gd idea...but thats not my call, its zero's.

and no zero, u cant really afford a temporary initial blind on that bcos u;re not just facing THAT 1 person that killed u in a rematch, u are also facing whoever enemy happened to be in that area when u respawned... and being blind is just saying u;re a sitting duck for either the rival's spraying, or his teammates that arent blind next to u ...

Ok with the latest version I now get some better error logs. It appears that race restrections apply 1 unit down. In that the limits on a race will be applied to the race below that race. So for example b/c panarama is below vagabon it also gets the restriction. However it appears to currently only effect these two races...

zero? i might be wrong, but isnt panorama in the old vagabond spot on the menu?

could it be that the vaga restriction is affecting the panorama bcos it took its slot?
(i might be wrong since i dnt know how many new races have been added the last few days...)

i will try to test out if the restriction affects anything else...

it's cause when zero finds a race we use to have alreay made, he just edits it and releases it. even when they're out of order (spidey is another example)

yeah thats smthn retarded with the race, u can climb high walls but cant skip a can...
example on dust 1, as panorama, u cant walk into the tunnel because there is the entrance step on each entrance, and it glitches u there... u kinda have to jump into the tunnel... which is retarded lol

it originally wasn't intended for that, but since panorama is a high level race with "crappy"(not as useful as other races around that level) skills the whole fuck all your vision up actually makes it worth playing

once again, you can zoom in with any fucking gun, and run around on rooftops for fun w/out flying. it's an incredibly mobile class, combined with an extremely powerful utility ult. take a FiveseveN and head to the roof and then reach out and screw someone over

wall climb allows you to walk straight up things as if they were stairs.
it's damn hard to shoot someone that keeps jumping up and down on the side of a wall.

the zoom allows you to snipe with deagles, ak47, m4, FiveseveNs, or any gun really

Wall climb = amazing in the right situation. You change elevation as if it was a stair. On maps with boxes or ledges, you become a pain to shoot at if you move properly. Also helps to get into certain areas like a flight race as well.

Zoom, multiple ranks is useless, yes. Zoom as a skill, useful. Not sure why they WOULDN'T put a rank in this skill.

You must have not played this race because the wall climb doesnt work almost on anything. The zoom makes your guns recoil hop and very hard to shoot. Who ever said sniping with a deagle that made me giggle since thats terrible and would never even give you a kill unless the target was not moving. These 2 skills should be replaced with any other 2 skills, really doesnt matter which skills. These current 2 skills are never used or even leveled until you have nothing else left to max.

This has nothing to do with me not understand or not liking this race. This race is one of my favorite races due to its screen twisting ability. I have tried everything and it is very difficult to make the zoom work in your favor with this race since almost all the maps r fast pace and you need to move constantly. the zoom just looks weird on all the guns spraying bullets im sure many would agree. These skills arent bad, they just arent as useful as we would need them to be to compare to some of the other skills on other races. I guess im saying it just doesnt fit with the race.

put less points into the zoom if you don't like it when it's maxed. ive Never maxed mine, I normally keep it at like 2-3 points in it.

there is no comparing 1 race 2 another... there's only looking at the entire server and all the races as a whole. not every race is supposed 2 be as good as every other one.

Seems like Panorama can still get its rematch to carry over to the next round. I was on office the other day and klled the last CT (a Panorama) in CT spawn. At the start of the next round I was brought to there spawn and raped.

Suggestion: Instead of 6 Levels of zoom have 2. Make 1st at level 8 and keep the zoom you have now. Make the 2nd at level 16 and give it the sniper zoom.

also i have heard people talk about the skill that lets you walk over objects (wall climb?) i believe its glitched/little unconventional because you cant walk up steps and get stuck often. Any chance of maybe re-coding this skill or just swapping it with something more suitable?

zero there is a bug in panorama (or is it santa+panorama?) :

watch this demo at tick 45k.
Gekke is a santa (he flies with the ulti), he died by me.
Apparently he had set panorama as a "to go to race after death", but what ended up happening was that when i killed gekke AS A SANTA, it RESPAWNED him using panorama's ability, even when panorama didnt even hit the field yet....

its a glitch and is highly exploitable since next thing you;d see is for example a shadow hunter setting pano as next race, dies, respawns as pano, dies, procs pano, changes back to shadow hunter, and respawns with full wards again, and able to recreate the cycle if they got lucky.

we'd never hear the end of it. strongly suggest u look into that?

If you killed a pano that procced rematch, and someone killed you while waiting for the rematch, you get summoned into the fight WITHOUT the main gun you had... just the glock/usp.

not really fair considering a rematch is supposed to be ... ya know, a rematch :P

ps: if i had an ak before rematch and i died, the ak DISAPPEARS from the map, i cant even find it where i died. im not 100% sure on this bcos of the heated gameplay,,, but i couldnt find my main gun (to re-equip) for the life of me after i rezzed with pistol only.

Flip view will no longer teleport a user to the position the user is already in (bad code). This should not only increase performance but also prevent hitching as a result.
