Well from what i have heard Zero is going to wait untill the forums update comes out and than he will start to work on the new admin system, but not untill he can update the forums.

Its amazing any of you can function in everyday life, none answered my question the question was not when is the admin system going to start. It is when it DOES START are admins who stop paying for a month or two that come back going to be able to regain their spot or are they automatically moved to the bottom of the list again?

i was told by maynard that it will be based off your abuse threads (wheather you have them or not) and time as an admin up to the release of the new system.

as for being a part of the new system i highly doubt you will get fucked like that considering there are logs of that and zero could check it for you.

i personallly have 3 fail threads :
1- hallwagner posting abuse bcos i accidentally perma muted him and he left before even informing me (console typo)
2- dana's fail thread of me for JUST yelling at her for being a pain in the butt and her vagina got bruised too bad specially since she was disrespecting admin in her own way by making people not respect our authority.
3- pepper/baboo making an abuse thread for wrongfully assuming he was hacking when i was new(demo was provided and protocol was used) instead of posting an unban me thread -.-

other than that, i have yet to use my admin to abuse , other than brentige, taz , joker and hallwagner :P but thats just too fun:D

in the event a seasoned admin would stop being an admin for a period of time, i very much doubt that downtime would make them a worse admin. although possible it is unlikely. the system is going in place to limit the amount of retards with the ability to do stupid server crashing/banning bullshit. plus not everyone has the money to donate to the servers all the time. i very much doubt if some of our trusted admins stopped and restarted at a later date that they would be penalized for the stoppage...


sadly this is just my hope and is not the official word on the situation as of yet.

just 2 clear things up. nothing is set in stone. zero mentioned a little while ago that in order 2 apply for senior admin you will have 2 have.....

-no abuse threads for x amount of time. 6months - a year was discussed.

-having been admin for x amount of time. 3 months

the figures were just zero's first idea. they might go up or down or stay the same. basically zero wants senior admins 2 be people who don't fuck around, people he can trust. he also did state that fail aboose threads wont screw you over or hurt your chances when applying for the position.

The question was not answered did you see Zero post a response? NO, when Zero posts an answer the thread can be closed. He is the only one who knows how he will determine ranking so he is the only one who can accurately answer the question. Maynard is the only one to give a good response to my question at hand anyways, everyone else just tries to up their post count(even you) trying to be a moderator and resolve situations. its best to stay out of a situation your not involved in to begin with.

I've had my fair share of issues with others within this community. That being said, I would urge you both to try to see past whatever initiated this sort of anger, and look forward to a system that will help the community. We all want what is best for the IBIS community- that's the reason why we continue to support it with our money, and time.

Simply ask Maynard, or ITB. We've rubbed each other the wrong way but at the end of the day we only want what is best for the community at large.

And to weigh in about the original question- I couldn't imagine that a month or even several months of not having admin will prevent a senior admin from returning to his position once he is able to afford the $11/month. Money certainly doesn't grow on trees and everyone runs into problems at some time or another. If you're a good admin then you have a good chance. Do what you do day in and day out and if ZERO sees that you do it well enough, you'll receive the privilege of being considered a senior admin.
