The latest update has done what all the others have done, and crashed the servers. In case you can not get on, no admins can fix it. We just need to wait for Zero to get time.

almost makes me laugh. if zero is planning on being away from the computer for a bit, it basically means the servers will get fucked with in some way hahaha....

I finally get a chance to play tonight and the servers are using an older version of CSS than I am!
How rude!
I am working on it however the new update is already known for making the servers crash basically all the time. So expect random crashes as there is no patch for valve breaking the game this time.

Note that without any addons preforming basically any action in game will crash the server. This involves any action that by preforming will result in your death by the game.

testing phase? homless guy with no pants gives them a couple floppy disks and they install them immediately
A hotfix has been released and installed on the servers. It will start to prevent crashes after the next crash and or map change. Currently the only way to prevent the crashes is to run this mod.
Note that the crashes effect all servers even without mods. This is actually the most broken update valve has released to date. :headache:

Didn't they have a test CS:S? Do they even use it?
The update likely bypassed that as they only use the beta for changing big things.
