So yesterday, I log on to find I'm bouncing between 100-200 latency. I've restarted my computer a dozen times and even configured my router to set games at high priority data. Problem I'm running into is that when other people are playing, I'm getting the short end of the allocated data stick. THIS NEVER USED TO BE A PROBLEM

Whenever I would update something on my ps3, it would cause my internet to not work, but that's on a wireless and I'm wired through the router, so what configuration could I use to fix these problems and promise and equal divvy of the interwebz?

When you say other people are paying do you mean locally?

Also you should not get higher ping just from them playing games unless your internet or router is shit.

What internet speeds do you have and what router are you using?

Router is Belkin N750DB Wireless N+.

Internet speed is supposed to be 100 MBs. My allocation is about 7-8 MBs according to speedtest.

Now are you sure the other people on the network are only playing games and not using a lot of bandwith?

Yes. Though that's another issue (it allocates bandwith unevenly).

My solution, at least for now, was to reset the router to factory defaults and re-issue wifi passwords and such.

It has Chrome acting a bit wonky at the moment, but that usually fixes itself.
