How it effects servers in the future will depend on valve creating the option to allow ipv6 server addresses. However this would not be ideal as they are not easy to remember. This is why I have ipv4 addresses saved up b/c they are easier to remember. Although, we have DNS redirection anyways so it does not matter too much.

For the website we can create a ipv6 to 4 tunnel via our DNS host.

our dns host sucks ass sometimes it will tell me that the sites down all the fucking time when i get off and i have to wait for hours before i can get on. GRRRR

What time of day is this? When they say the site is down it is down at least on the web end. This is not an issue with the DNS but with the actual web server. The only times I have seen this occur is when I am doing work on the server and place too much load on the system.

completely randomly. and, if i ask other people if the forums are down they normally say no.

I get it alot too. the strange thing is that if I switch over to explorer from firefox it usually works...

it happens about 12 midnight to 4am i think is when i see it most of the time.
