actually we have retards who vote for pretty faces to run the country. do note that those who run the country are politicians. not scientists, not sociologists, not economists...politicians. that is why this current system sucks. they are trained to care about what people think of them, and not the facts of a given situation.

I doubt they actually care much about what the people think. They are more about the money and power. That is the reason they are always looking for more of both.

Logically fire can be safe when we keep is small and in the palm of our hand. However fire when released will quickly spread and devour everything.

I very much like the idea of relating government to fire. Fire like government must have fuel to keep going. Both constantly try to grow in search of ever more fuel. Both can the life and death of man. If you let a fire grow with no restraint it will devour the earth if you let government grow with no restraint it will devour the earth.

Fire is great it helps you cook keeps you warm gives you light and helps protect you. However if you surround yourself with too much fire just as placing it in your home the moment you take your eye off it you and your house have been burnt to the ground. Likewise is government where the more places you allow it to enter the faster it will destroy you as soon as your eyes are elsewhere.

Sorry for the delay: Cispa is not focusing on piracy like Sopa was. Its aim is to allow companies to relay to each other and the government information about anything viewed as "a Cyber security threat". If you read the 11 page bill you will notice one thing about it: Its Vague. It is intended to allow the government to overstep boundaries and such with whatever they define as a threat.
