No Players?

Wasn't there a mod you guys had that spoofed players to get ppl in the server? Every time I look at it there aren't any players. If there is nobody in and I am the first player - my screen just freezes...

Yea valve made it so that the first plaer to join a server laggs up for a few seconds before connecting if the server is empty.

I see..... that's lame. It's like a blank screen - I had to kill the process...

no if you wait it will join. But if it stuck for a few min there is a problem. Either server needs update or is crashed.

Also you can exit the connection attempt by typing disconnect in console.

Those screens will also display if your downloading a map or connecting to a custom map.
