We like to talk about all the cool abilities for our wcs races but what about the stuff we can do in RL? Below is sort of a list of life achievements as far as human abilities go copy the list and add if you can do them and to what skill level. If there is anything major missing let me know and I will add it. As you can see from the list these are things like bike riding that require some skill to learn how to do that you never forget.
Snow Ski: Double Black, best I have been to is Colorado but I learned from the youngest age with private lessons annually for 10+ years.
Water Ski: Can stay up for a long time cutting in and out of wake I have not slalomed or done any of those ram things.
Snowboard: Never tried, never plan to
Wake board: Water Ski is enough for me
Knee board: I have only done this once but I did a barrel roll was fun and would like to do it again
Rollerblade: Can go on some ramps n shit but nothing fancy
Ice-skate: Can do basic jumps and spins, have had private figure skating lessons up to when they start to teach you stuff for when people are going to do it as a sport. Have not done it in years but it was always a lot of fun gliding on the ice, I hope to some day skate on a big lake or something where you can just keep going and going with no one in your way.
Bike riding: I think we all got this one
Unicycle: Seen people do it but never tried
Horse Riding: Western Style, have ridden in mountain passes and in rugged terrain, have raced at max speed for .5 to 1 mile. This is the sort of stuff you got to have your own horse to do or have friends with some. My instructions were my dad taking me to the horse places in the US where you just follow everyone else so that was my only experience prior to real horses. The rest was here you go now figure it out and oh if you mes up it is going to hurt or result in death. Some of my friends learned how to ride on real ones with the same instructions. This is how you hold the rains and this is how you control the horse now follow us and if you get stuck or lost we will come back for you. I will say that riding is very fun if you have never done it. The perspective is very different from walking/driving as I have done this in very scenic and remote locations it is something worth doing at least once in your life.
Skate Boarding: Can do it but not very well
Snorkeling: Fun and easy once you get the hang of it.
Scuba Diving: Have not done this yet.
Bull Riding: Have not tried the real one or the fake one lol
Drive Stick: Never have actually had to but can
Motorcycle: Was taught on a gravel road where I had to go back and forth in 100ft lines the road was not wide enough to turn without spinning the tire or going forward/backward or lifting the bike up. Under these conditions your going to fall a bit and learn fast. I was driving on sand with street tread within hours! Have actually only done it twice now but in the DR it is very dangerous if you do not know what your doing helmet is pointless down there (never actually seen one down there now that I think of it) if you mess up your dead. Oh btw good luck dodging potholes and anything that is larger than you are on the road.
Boating: Have done this for a long time, can sail but have never operated a large 10ft+ size sail boat. Can also use PWC on two stroke.
Trailing: Have trailored boats and PWC
Truck Driving: Anyone that has knows this is a lot different than SUV or CAR. With a high center of gravity and weight these things are a lot different to handle. I have driven a 15+ foot to move back to GA.
