Edit: also, for the xbox nerds.... I have an xbox with me but am having trouble with a few things:
1. Is there a way to connect online if the connection is login protected (as in i open my browser via comp, get a login browser, enter login and password)
2. if not is there an alternate way to get DLC's with out directly downloading from my xbox?

Have you tried logging into live? I'm not sure how those Login things work but I would think they are HTTP based and only affect web browsing.
I know some games sell their DLC on separate disks for those without internet. Might be able to buy one or barrow someone's disk.
