So the rule says, no rapid map change. What exactly does that mean? He changed the map two times, the first one fairly at the beginning. So if anyone could explain what rapid map change means?
That really destroys the playflow. I mean, why are there possibilities like RTV if the admin can just go around and change the map to whatever he or she likes? Especially after not even playing long on the map. There were enough players for a voting.

if you guys weren't playing on a map very long, it sounds like he didn't like that map, and thus changed to a different one. the number of players does not matter at all.
also, points for reading the format thread and bringing up demos, however do not put links to the FTP site. those links will die, normally within 2 days. download the demos, and attach them to your post instead.

how is 3:09:00 PM Server time - 3:47:00 PM Server time a rapid map change? honestly... it's clear you guys are just pissed off that you didn't get 2 play the map you liked... get over it. He's not going 2 get in shit for that as he did nothing wrong. If you're going 2 catch him on anything, it will be the slap slay blind shit.

I did slay the wrong person because the person in the cade with me smashed the cade at the end making us both die i click on the worng name it happens and i said sorry to him and also offer to let him kill me after witch when i told motherfunker to stop shooting me 5 times so he could get the kill.. when mother killed me I then blinded him and froze him with all of 40 seconds left on the map in a cade with another person that he was safe in. as senior admin i can change the map and if you look back in all of the maps played i 98% of the time will do a map vote and ask what people want and change it accordingly.

No Maynard, you got it wrong. I don't want to get him into trouble for anything, I just wanted to know what a rapid map change means. For me, it was a rapid map change. Changing 2 maps out of 4 suddenly is - for me - a rapid map change. If you mean that this rule only means changing one map after another, then you should point it out. I'm fine when it's the server's rule, and this has absolutely nothing to do with getting Omega into trouble. Also, I didn't like both maps, it just disrupted the game flow.

Looking at the definition of rapid:
You can see that changing the map after a very short time constitutes the description rapid. This change happened in a VERY short time after the map starting. So by the wording of these rules it was wrong. I suggest you change the wording to fit better to "repeatedly changing maps in a short space of time" rather than "rapid".Happening in a short time or at a great rate

there was a map played in-between those maps. And if you read the definition of rapid you would see it only has to be quick. not frequent. But I see the general consensus is the latter.

I don't need 2 read definitions... I'm the guy who decides if he was abusing or not... and have been doing this for going on 3 years... so you'll have 2 excuse me if I don't care what your opinion is on how we have always handled things in this community.
as ive said already... he did nothing wrong regarding the map changes... get over it.

Excuse me, but does the "most helpful admin" on this gaming platform need to be that arrogant?
I think both me and Racorac agreed that it's totally fine if this is your server rule, but if you say people should read the TOS, you should consider your wording, so that this does not happen again. If it were more clear on the TOS, there would have been no reason to accuse Omega on rapid map changing. I don't see how an admin cannot care for this.

Logical but flawed. The clan here have final say on what rules mean and as he has been doing this for 3+ years he has the right to say yes or no and his rule is final unless Zero (the server owner) or Jigsaw (co-owner) say different, and they haven't.

I, in no way, say that you should change the rules. But I suggest to point it out more clearly what your definition of "rapid" means so that new player - like me - understand than more clearly. That is all I am saying, why is that such a big deal?
I repeat: I understand what you define as rapid map change NOW. But this was only clear after reporting Omega. This report would not have happened if the rules were more clear. That is all I am saying. I do not want to accuse Omega just because the rules are not pointed out clearly.
