and btw. and update on the other thread, not many ppl still play what they were playing back then.
I will tell you however that Guild Wars 2 is fucking AMAZING.
I still play, along with Owns, Shadow and a few occasional others.
So if u want a game that still has active friends?
Get gw2, and hit me up.

oh hell no.
I never played gw1, and im doing absolutely fine. u dnt need it.
It's like telling people "you cant play skyrim without playing oblivion", it makes no sense.
Hell, the reason why gw2 is such an amazing game is that they maxxed the user-friendlyness, making u able to play gw2 without ever playing gw1... heck i never played any mmorppg before gw2 and im doing just fine
Each game is its own world and scenario, and im pretty sure everyone migrated to gw2 anyway.
Just get the 2nd
