uhhh, we do know what it looks like dude. i don't honestly have that much of a problem with the UI per-say, i mean the Metro layout is alright and i think i'd get used to it over time like i have with unity...but the fact that it's really kinda forced onto you makes me upset.
I wish fallout 1 and 2 worked on win 7 =(

Ya which is why I will never install it. But Win 7 is the new XP and Win 8 is the new Vista. Much like no one went to Vista, no one will go to 8. There just isn't anything great about it. They are having a hard time selling it and it is actually falling short of predicted sales. Touch screen computing is a fad and the fact that they built this whole OS around that is abysmal. There's no new DX. There is nothing new about it. Unless their demographic are 8 year olds, then this thing is going to flop.
Actually the adaptation rate of 8 is even worse than Vista: http://www.maximumpc.com/article/new...tart_vista2012
touch screen computing is not a fad when it intuitive, How many times as a kid did you poke your screen
The issue with vista was drivers, thats not 8's issues. The issue is the split from RT, and pushing people into probably the most unusual UI jump since windows itself.
people thought the start menu in 95 was a fad.
gog version be fixing all those problems.
good ol gog saving the day.
