1- Mikey, now that the game is over, I wanna apologize for being a dick to you... I had to keep the pressure on you especially after aco caught me with a gun.

2- I still find it...euh... CONVENIENT that the arson would claim firefighter and conveniently happen to not get CC'd? ... masskid? care to elaborate on that?

3- Brett, honestly? When i got my role I was like "wtf? what can i do with this? it cant be used to kill anyone, and if i use it to confuse people, i'll just get lynched..."
So I looked it up (on epic mafia, where's I've seen this role before when modding). I asked nemesis how are the messages "sent anonymously" ... so he told me that the message is sent by the mod anonymously and the player doesn't know where it came from, just that they got it... So at first, i thought i could fake claim being a Town Agent which is basically a semi-cop that can sends a message to mafia/neutral only. If they receive it, it means that they are mafia.
The problem with that role? if someone claimed they got a msg from me, and died as townies... i'd be made... So instead, I used the experience i got from the previous blade game, and pretended to be a friendly neighbour...
I honestly thought i wouldnt last 1 day in this game when ppl wonder how i got the same role twice... so my entire original gameplay was to make friends with you and the ones most problematic to town so that when i die as a mafia, they turn the guns on u ... so in a way.. i thought my role was gonna be kamikazee style.
You gotta admit... using the anonimity of the mod in order to send you a semi-convincing message that i'm a friendly neighbour (using the intel i got from scribble because he received a prior msg when i ACTUALLY was a friendly neighbor in blade's game.. So we took that message and we tweaked it to fit this story xD
It was a team effort and just a bastard idea.

4- speaking of which. the ONLY bastard thing I've seen in this game was, again, the fact that there was no firefighter... I can be attributed a bit as a bastard role? meh, i guess, but it was all about the execution... i'd like to fucking take credit that using it as a friendly neighbor to gain town trust and steer everyone AWAY from scribble and sin (the real threat) by focusing on others in game... hell, i almost took control of every night action to be done and made sure it's convenient enough that ppl would believe it's a gd idea... and keeping away from scribb and sin..


We also adapted a lot...For example, i thought mikey was really NOT a cop... on a small setup, a gunsmith is usually enough to be a cop... we were gonna have sin counter claim mikey for cop because I thought that mikey was a PGO baiting me to get him killed when he soft claimed cop...
So what we did? we couldnt kill him at night... we either had to get him lynched, or keep him till the end if he was pgo...
SO, i asked aco to investigate MIKEY... not to see if he has a cop... but since the arson and mafia are the only killers out there so far, we assumed that if aco turned up dead the next day, mikey would definitely be pgo, and we'd get him lynched on the fact that he was mafia and trying to hide his tracks by killing aco before he makes him... luckily, i had enough votes going on, and the mafia members + arson hammered the vote on mikey.

Once mikey turned up cop. it was gg for mafia.

5- masskid, well played on pretending to do ur role... but i knew u were the arson all along. It was either you or chikun since mikey was either cop or pgo.
So we roleblocked chikun night 2 assuming he's the arson. When you told me u got doused? GG, it had to be you. either for lying, or for pretending you got doused when u didnt... especially since ur entire gameplay was only about the fire... not about mafia.

6- aco, mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn... u had me rattled up lol... i never thought i'd see the end of day 2 LOL... we had contingency plans if i were to be made though.. .scrible and sin were supposed to be the hammerer votes on me and get me lynched lol....
Finding that gun with me?... having to claim bus'd ??? i didnt expect u to actually go with it.... lol... if u actually killed me by lynch, then i'd die as a spy, and ppl would know brett is innocent bcos a spy might be sending him fake msgs...
We also made sure after i got confirmed as townie to not be made by getting burned on night 3... So I asked Sin to janitor ME, in case masskid wasnt the arson and burned me... this way ppl wouldnt know i was the spy...

To be fair, town could have used a PGO, and a firefighter...Not so much because the arson was there... but because it was too easy for mass to claim firefighter and no one countered him.. again... i still dnt know how mass could take such a risk without knowing beforehand there was no FF...
I'll admit town could have used a boost... but holy crap... u guys killed ur own... sin and scribble literally did NOTHING the entire game other than stay out of my way so that when i die, they are not tied to me ...

I will stand here for a round of applause. thank you -.-... and thank sin and scribble for an amazing team.. we actually really clicked and had similar plans and contingencies prepared beforehand. Would love to work with them again.

Nemesis? honestly? amazing game. There's ALWAYS gonna be bitching... for example, in my last game, town was stronger than serial and mafia... but in this game, the balance was a LITTLE to us... but barely like 7% ... so 54% scumwin vs 46% townwin chances ... not bad all in all..


Blade... you really need to be careful with what you tell people...it almost cost me the game on night 2 because ur overall attitude made our actions to block mikey and msg him TOO easy... u should just stay aside until u get all role, like nem , and only answer ruling questions...also ur first stunt was bad lol...

Aco gd play, chikun gd play. mikey... horrible play... but that's only because i was setting u up... so nice try i guess... but you made it TOO easy for me to make u a liar in the game bcos u dnt pay attention to what u say man... seriously... Also, Sin and scribble knew u were the cop from the start because of ur attempt to get a cop to counter claim u first... and because u seemed wayyyyy too confident compared to usual...
they were right.

Thirdly i was the only one hard pushing cyber and his bullshit claim. furthermore, here are my investgations and reasonings behind them.

night 1: Blackmage. Reason: he is a very good player, i wanted to know if he was town or mafia right off the bat.

night 2: Masskid: Reason: I figured i was being baited into investigating brett, as planned during day 2. I figured that was what the mafia wanted me to do based off how hard cyber was pushing me to investigate brett to prove his innocence. I did not bye into it for fear brett would be killed, so i went after masskid whos claim also stank. He came up anti town, i figured most of the players figured i was cop, made my accusation and then bam i got hit with a 24 hour blackout. if that had not happened im sure this game would have gone alot differently.

Ya, so now I can explain that. Basically for everyone else out there, on night one Mikey investigated Blackmage, then blackmage was targeted by Mafia. So Mikey got his Innocent reading, and Blackmage came up dead in the morning. Mikey msg'd me asking if Blackmage was innocent or dead.

I felt like saying, "nah dude, he's dead." was giving information too directly. So I basically said he's innocent, regardless of his physical status. So he innocent if he's dead, or alive.

He was given the innocent ruling because janitor does not apply any kind of roleblocking on their target, and the investigation would come before the kill in the operations.

So there's all that.

Its was extremely obvious after day 2. im actually a bit sad everyone else was baited by you, like fucking sheep with no brain of there own. I think the problem with your game mikey is you jump around too much. You need to calm down or filter some out or something. A game or two ago you came out with your "suspects" and it was literally every person who was part of the conversation. Then you would jump from one person to the next, all over the place. Last game you thought I was anti-town, yet I didn't have to defend myself once because everyone just ignored you, if I was quiet, you would just jump to someone else, which happened.

I think if you just slow down a bit and stop trying to win on day one you'll help yourself out a lot.

that might be true with some of my first games but that is not the case during this game. My suspects did not change at all during this game. It was masskid and cyber. Following up with sin (kept accusing chikun) and scribb (said was quitting game, then immediately changes mind). I didnt give taz the benefit of possibly being mafia....

Wolf was sort of a policy lynch due to blades post fiasco and shadow was another policy lynch. Never did i think they were anti town or anyone else anti town during this game.

I right shit down either as it happens or in future tense as to not forget my path. (its easy to forget out here in afghanistan)

investigate blackmage = huge asset if town, huge win for town if mafia.

dont trust cybers claim, push for answers

masskid claimed to be a fire fighter.

everyone is trying desperatly to get brett investigated. Could be bait. cannot investigate brett as it is likley a trap.

Investigate masskid. Results of doing so, He comes up town = not a liar, arson exsists, cyber is town, brett is cleared.
masskid comes up anti town = not the fire fighter = cyber is lying. Pending day 3 convos and results, investigate cyber.

[Blackmage]

First, I'm sticking with my "I need a bulletproof" to play at this site :P Or anonymous game.

On the arsonist without firefighter, IMO, it made perfect sense. Remember, 3rd party killers have a BLOODY hard time winning.

Also, for mods, please be wary of converting epicmafia roles to forum mafia. Realize, they have different balance then we do. Open setups in all games, night start in most, whispers in almost every non-vanilla. Also, be careful about names. Epic's gunsmith is QUITE a bit different. Mason is a good deal different too. It's things like this that make me agree with the "wiki" idea. That way, a dead unclaimed gunsmith won't have us looking over shoulder's as we post.

Related, this "Spy" was not much like epicmafia's spy. It was mailman, as Nem said.

As contrast, Epic's does it via anon message, not system (aka mod) messaging, to a ROLE, not a player. It can also do it at day. It can do it to multiple players, and multiple times. On the messaging part: it'd be closer to having sent the message via PM from the PA system. Mistaking their spy message for a system message is not possible as long as the person receiving it has basic reasoning skills.

Right now, someone who feels they need to "over explain themselves" realizes they're playing with a fairly new group of people. Even non-new players need some things thoroughly explained to them. It's also a dangerous rule to follow. I let other's use your rule to get a townie lynched. Basically, it's not a bad rule, but don't use it as a be-all end-all. In fact, probably shouldn't have any be-all end-all rules. Someone WILL find a way to break them.

Black, it's funny you bring up the different Gunsmiths. that's why Aco's description is a soldier, because I was expecting him to be handing out guns all the time, then Blade told me what he wanted and I was like, "oh, good thing you told me, that's totally different."

again, I like the IBIS wiki idea. I also think it's be great if there were forum profiles for just mafia that we could shuffle and hand out each game, that way no one knows who the player is and people can play based of their roles, not based off how they played other games.
